The room was clean, the bed was good enough and the kitchens were also spacious .... excellent breakfast with a payment and provided mainly with sweet but also with the salt , which we prefer, was abundant. Some things that didn't go: 1.la The bathroom door was sliding and remained open was closed with hardness (the term in the red shower that took all the drawings) 2. a hot night horrible! We tried to decrease in vain (unfortunately, as I was at night I didn't feel disturbed at reception) 3. 7euro for parking seems to me excessive 4. hotel in front of the train station (not particularly noisy but you feel!!. Maybe having booked with booking they gave us the ”lower” room. It is excellent in the central position near the palace.

Lack of sunshine around the pool We stayed (3xAdult, 1xTeen) for four nights whilst attending a sporting event nearby. On entering the hotel, it looked pleasant. On entering our room however, we got old damp kind of smell. The fridge did not function and we reported it on several occasions and it was never fixed. We did have an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink, which they rectified by removing the plug entirely. Housekeeping staff did a great job in the limited conditions. The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

Make sure you travel with mosquito spray as you do get a lot of bites. Perfect location to walk around Riccione and also right by the sea. Only took us 15 minutes to drive to the racetrack so perfect and the breakfast was great. Only thing breakfast could do with being served earlier on race day as we left before it opened.

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.

Exceptional and economic location, full of moving rictions. Excellent quality/price ratio. Clean environments. Comfortable parking attached to the structure. The excellent service offered by the manager, Vincenzo, that you can enjoy (with you) to offer a stay of all comfort for your customers, is the true added value of the stay.

Giorno 1: arriviamo la sera in albergo per il check in e scopriamo che la nostra stanza deve aver avuto giorni migliori sia come pulizia che come manutenzione, giorni ormai perduti. Il bagno non è adatto ai claustrofobici, ma anche a chi non ne soffre. Se sei in doccia e malauguratamente la persona che è in stanza con te entra in bagno, l’apertura della porta ti bloccherà per sempre sotto la doccia. Macchie nel water di origine sconosciuta e una stanza che per camminare in due o saltavi sul letto o facevi i turni per spostarti. L’assenza di un frigo ci ha costretti a bere acqua bollente tutti e tre i giorni. La sera stessa un blitz di tre pattuglie in albergo perché hanno arrestato una persona sul mio stesso piano e vabbè magari non è colpa loro, vado a dormire e ripongo le mie speranze nella prima colazione. Prima delle tre colazioni in albergo: il dramma. Servono alla mia ragazza celiaca fette biscottate che scopriamo poi essere SENZA LATTOSIO e SENZA ZUCCHERI AGGIUNTI ma con secchiate di glutine che ci costringono ad una corsa al pronto soccorso. Rientrati la sera stanchi e affamati siamo costretti ad aspettare dieci minuti abbondanti in macchina che si liberasse il parcheggio che avevamo già pagato. Una volta rientrati in stanza mi accingo a cercare i miei contenitori con la cena per scoprire che erano spariti. Una volta chieste spiegazioni alla reception prima mi era stato detto che erano stati buttati nell’ immondizia, per poi vederli uscire pochi istanti dopo dalla cucina addirittura lavati. Il perché si trovassero nelle loro cucine e non nella mia stanza rimane un mistero. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni in merito invece alla colazione mi sono stati promessi dalla titolare, come “rimborso”, di questo errore che poteva uccidere la mia compagna, due Spritz e dieci euro. Entrambi mai pervenuti. Giorno 3: seconda colazione con il terrore addosso. Il personale sembra dispiaciuto ma con la ferrea convinzione che intollerante al lattosio e celiachia fossero la stessa cosa poiché continuavano a sostenere che quelle fette biscottate di cui prima andavano più che bene. tolta la pulizia approssimativa della stanza, sembra tutto stranamente tranquillo, ma la quiete non era destinata a durare. Quarto e ultimo giorno: durante la nostra ultima (finalmente) colazione, il maître sembra arrabbiato come una biscia. Prima mi dice di aver finito il sale in cucina per poi vederlo comparire sul mio tavolo un quarto d’ora dopo e poi continua dicendomi che il cappuccino senza lattosio per la mia ragazza già preso nelle precedenti colazioni , da quel giorno , senza nessun motivo, avremmo dovuto pagarlo a parte prendendolo esclusivamente al bancone del bar. Ormai con il cuore affranto e pieno di sconforto per la consapevolezza che avrei dovuto litigare per l’ennesima volta vado a chiedere spiegazioni per poi scoprire che a detta del maître è sempre e solo stata tutta colpa nostra, perché a quanto pare dire che uno è celiaco non basta.
