An absolutely magical setting in some of the most beautiful country on earth, hosted by warm, caring people. Excellent accommodations with a fine restaurant on the property. Have a look at the website - (gargonza.it) - it's an honest picture of an incredible restoration. Gargonza is fabulous - I can't wait to return!

Castello di Gargonza is the most enchanting place I have ever stayed. The entire village is beautifully restored but retains traditional charm and artisanship while providing updated amenities like modern plumbing and internet. The views from the village down into the valley are magical and ever-changing.

Returned after 6 years but the atmosphere, the scent of antiquity, the feeling of arriving in another world long gone remains intact. Apt 7 stone. Fireplace lit immediately. Bread, salami and cheese and a bottle of syraz in front of the fireplace like our grandparents. No TV... that's fine... the rest is magic

Absolutely an experience worth trying. Complete, because it is equipped with every service. Unique, because it makes you live inside a beautiful medieval village. Relaxing, because it is immersed in silence. Welcoming, because it has very kind staff. Elegant, because every internal and external space is well cared for. Pleasant, because it has excellent dishes from breakfast to dinner in the restaurant. In short, more than adjectives you have to experience Gargonza to appreciate it.

Stayed for a weekend in this uncontaminated paradise. A 10 for the professionalism of the reception and restaurant staff. Sublime food and impeccable cleanliness. There was no television in the room but it was perfect anyway. I strongly recommend.
