Decent, pocket friendly hotel with above average experience for a short stay. Amenities were clean, though some old. Hotel staffs were very friendly.

We stayed in a historic king room, it was clean and very charming. Our only complaint is that the walls are thin and the street noise was quite loud waking us up during the night; everything else was more than satisfactory.

Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel.

I booked a double room. The location was good, very convenient for driving to attractions. The elevator was a bit winding. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean, but the hallway was a bit dark.

It's a very small town, and the hotel is centrally located. American-style service isn't usually expected; the decor is quite nice, but also a bit old. The rooms are a bit small and have a slightly strange smell.
