The hotel has convenient transportation and the free parking lot is great! You can reach supermarkets, pharmacies and various restaurants within walking distance. The room is large enough to accommodate several large boxes. Although the facilities are not new, they are still kept very clean and tidy. What deserves special praise is that the hotel staff are very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and provided various suggestions very sincerely. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's still delicious. Overall, a nice hotel and a good choice if you go to Monterey.

There are two connecting rooms, but unfortunately there is only one bathroom. It is very convenient for parents and children to travel. Free parking. A typical American breakfast is enough to fill your stomach. The hotel is very quiet.

We stopped here for one night between Pismo Beach and San Francisco: a good, clean hotel, pretty close to the pier and harbor. Friendly staff, comfy beds, couldn't be happier :)

A fairly good and comfortable hotel. The staff which served me at check in was pretty businesslike, get the job done quickly. For a rather pricey hotel (like most hotels in Monterey) I don't find it welcoming. Later when i approached the front desk again, another service staff was an opposite - friendly, smiling and welcoming. Thus standard of service was inconsistent. For that I took a * off. We're on the first floor and the carpet leading to the rooms look worn out and tired. Parking was adequate. Breakfast was good.

I have nothing but good things to stay about our stay here. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The parking was easy and plentiful. There is tea and coffee always available in the lobby. The room was clean and had a sliding door with a screen, for fresh bug free air. The beds and pillows were super comfy. I didn’t hear a single noise during the night. There was a wonderful ceiling fan, which I think should be mandatory in all hotel rooms. The sink was separate from the toilet and shower, which makes sharing a room so much easier. There was plenty of hot water. The cooked breakfast was yummy. A couple of our group said the coffee was bad. I don’t drink coffee (it always tastes bad to me), so I’d say this place was perfect with no room for improvement. The Best Western will now always be my first choice when staying in Monterey.
