I’m reviewing this from the perspective of what I paid. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet, our room faced Highway 1 and we never heard any traffic. Parking was easy. There was no fee for the parking. Location around the hotel is undeveloped, so it the neighborhood was dark – however felt very safe. Breakfast was included. The room where food was served was a little cramped. However, there was plenty of seating and space to eat. The interior and rooms looked clean, modern, and either newly constructed or newly renovated. Our room didn’t feel cramped. Bed was comfortable. Location was good, just south of Fisherman’s Wharf (walking distance). It was also walking distance to the beach at Seaside. It was easy to get to and get out of – right off of Del Monte and highway 1. The biggest negative was it has only one elevator. However, it was never an issue and we never had to wait – was never full. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the area. As much as I like the Embassy Suites, which is around the corner…… for what I paid, the Hampton Inn it was very good value. I would stay at the Hampton Inn again.
