The hotel is old and feels very similar to Italy. The sun is fading. The room is quite large. The breakfast is very simple. The view is nice. If you want to stay near the Cinque Terre, this hotel is highly recommended. The price/performance ratio is very high. You can stay there for less than 1,000 yuan.

Hotel well located (5 minutes from the train station and facing the sea) and above all very quiet.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly
Remember to book parking before you leave (a real problem in Monterosso)
The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are some all along the beach
Average+ breakfast (buffet topped but the quality remains average especially on the fruit juices)

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Palme in April. The location was perfect - close enough to the train station and town and just one building off the beach. The balcony provided a nice spot to sit and enjoy the air although it didn’t have much of a view. The room was pretty basic but fit our needs. In room coffee and a hair dryer that actually provided some air would’ve made it perfect! If you need to dry your hair bring your own hair dryer. Oh and AC as it was pretty warm while we were there (my understanding is AC isn’t turned on until a certain date in Italy and it wasn’t on yet.) The bathroom was quite small and cramped but it worked just fine for us (I’m 5 foot 6 and had to sit sort of sideways on the toilet or my legs hit the shower!). Breakfast was great and had enough choices to make everyone in our group happy. Front desk staff was very helpful and could answer all of our questions. They were especially helpful about our hiking options. I will definitely stay here again on a future visit!

First, let me start with the things that I liked about this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Any request was quickly attended to. The location is just about perfect. Very close to the sea, lots of restaurants, and incredibly beautiful scenery. I liked the complimentary breakfast. There were lots and lots of choices. Lots of fruits, breads, and pasteries. There is a nice cappuccino machine. The water pressure and temperature for the sink and shower were excellent. There were plenty of outlets available in the room. Now, let me tell you why I rated this hotel only a 3. The rooms are very plain and actually kind of shabby. There is no decoration on the walls. The tv is very small compared to most hotels. There is a refrigerator in my room, but it barely cools water lower than room temperature at the highest setting. The hairdryer in the bathroom has got to be from 1970. I have fairly thin, short hair, and it took forever to get it dry. I hate to be mean, but the owners really need to invest some cash into this hotel. It is advertised as a 4 star hotel, but I don't see how it got that rating.

Hotel in a great location with a nice garden. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. The rooms below expectations are very basic and need to be completely renovated, certainly not 4 star. It's a shame, especially considering the hotels with the same cataloging as those in our competitor countries.

I chose this hotel for its location AND the parking, I travel by car, yes. On arrival the car park is full and I am invited to use the paid public car park. No support from the hotel and the receptionist is as friendly as a prison door. The rooms are noisy, small and comfort is limited. The bathroom door doesn't close. In short, it deserves one star at most and I'm being generous. GO YOUR WAY.

We stayed at Hotel la Palme for 3 nights. The hotel is located directly a few minutes from the beach and a few minutes from the old town, everything is very close, great! Hotel was clean, we had parking space as reserved. Breakfast was ok, but could be a little better, different types of sex or something. The staff was super nice, the cleaning lady was very nice and helpful, reception was also great - the woman Ema and the other lady too. I would recommend it
