Very old hotel in heart of historical size of Montevideo city. Room size is very small but room is clean. Inside room have only small table, tv, bed. Is good for 1-2 days specially for observe city center (full day excursion). Have good roof top with perfect view. In morning no have breakfast - just coffee tea with croissant, but can have food outside.

This hotel is a very cute hotel that offers great service! The hotel is staffed 24/7, it has great wifi and a central location. I would stay here again

The first night at 12:15 PM, I felt something biting me. After turning on the light, it turned out to be BEDBUGS! I managed to kill two of them, one already suffocated by my blood. We didn't unpack because we checked in late and quickly left this DISGUSTING PLACE. We didn't get a refund right away. We had to return the next day, and after a major intervention because it was a Saturday, they refunded us without covering any other costs (taxi, much higher costs at another hotel). The service was VERY unpleasant, as if it were our problem, not theirs. I spent the entire night sleepless, nervous and stressed. I highly recommend this old, neglected, and dirty pseudo-hotel with unfriendly staff!

Most of the objects, streets, and facilities are from at least a dozen years ago. Half of the shops on the entire street are closed, and many of the shop doors and windows are damaged and covered with thick dust. The hotel seems to have not been updated for decades. All the facilities have a long history. The wardrobe is a product of the 1960s and 1970s. The air conditioner is new but cannot be used. Fortunately, the staff are very enthusiastic.

Only Spanish is spoken, but it's conveniently located in the center of Ciudad Vieja. Be careful as there are few shops at night.
They offer laundry service. It was 210 Uruguayan pesos for two people. The price is relatively cheap, so I recommend it.

Hotel is in a region close to many tourist attractions but at certain times there is no way to leave because the region is very dangerous, old and charming building but with some limitations and peculiarities. The service was excellent from everyone, the staff were always kind and helpful.
