All the people whom are part of The Inn make you feel like family. The home is a beautiful historic place to settle. The food is excellent and the property so quiet with only the sound of the river to hear

Great place to stay when you want to unplug & unwind. Inn keepers very helpful and personable. Wonderful service, and Holly makes a great cocktail! Definitely make a reservation for dinner at The Inn Restaurant. Delicious meal, in addition to the great breakfast every morning.

We loved this Inn. We stayed here for a weekend in March while skiing at Jay Peak with our 13 and 15 year old sons. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our late arrival on Friday night. You felt like you were visiting and staying with a family, but they weren't all over you, they gave us our space but were attentive to our needs. We enjoyed breakfast both mornings in the dining area and spent Saturday evening in the living room with some hot drinks from the bar, watching basketball, and playing board games. My son played the piano. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant as it was pricey and the food was a bit too eclectic for our teenage sons. There were 2 dogs! It was quaint and our room was clean, well decorated, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. It was so nice to be in our room and the common room and look out the window and see it snowing. It was very New England. It was an easy drive, about 15 minutes, to the mountain. The little town the Inn was in looked cute. There were a few shops and restaurants, not too much, but we didn't have any time to explore it as we were really just there to ski. We would go back, for sure.

This was a great place to stay. Lots of skiing memorabilia. The bear in the reading area was definitely pretty cool! Food was excellent and staff was very friendly.

We stayed after our plans to Nova Scotia were canceled due to hurricane. We were very fortunate to find something available on short notice. The food was excellent and the staff felt like family. Holly, the bartender, makes a great Pumpkin cocktail for fall. Place was very quiet for sleeping. Easy access to stores/bars within walking distance. Nick also gave us ideas of what to do in the area. I left a new coat there and Jason was very nice and mailed it back to me.

Nick and his team work hard and it shows. Despite an obvious shafting shortage The Inn just shined. This was a reunion trip with my spouse of many decades who had never enjoyed the area I frequented in the 1970’s and Nick and crew made the reunion trip worthwhile, warm, and welcoming. Jason’s kitchen skills were impressive and their work ethic and care for quality come through at every level. This is and inn, not a cold hotel, so prepare accordingly and enjoy! Who knows they may even offer you a Tom’s cosmo when you next visit the lounge!
