We knew this establishment because we had already used them as a caterer on several occasions. Very satisfied with the service, we decided this time to come and stay there for one night. The welcome is warm and the rooms (simple but clean) offer good value for money. We stayed on a Thursday evening, the day the restaurant was closed, and the owner offered us a cold tray to bring to our room, which we accepted with pleasure in order to keep the establishment working. On the menu, a slice of raw ham, a few slices of sausage, three pickles, a small tomato and mayonnaise as a starter, a babybel and a sous vide emmental and finally an industrial crème caramel. We ask for an extra 25cl of beer to enjoy the meal. It's not a great evening meal but it suits us very well after a day on the road. What really disappointed us, however, was the price charged: €25 per person + €4 for beer, or almost €30 per person, which is the price of the gourmet menu normally served by the establishment. This price is unacceptable given the service, obviously especially since we were only told it when we were paying. While we wanted to make the establishment work, the bill stuck in our throats. Not only will we not come back but we will no longer work the establishment through our local contacts. Damage!
