Although we were only one night but it was an unforgettable day. First of all the place looks wonderful and more beautiful than the pictures....Moreover, Vincent the owner was wonderful and did everything he could to make our time enjoyable. Starting with the order, at the reception with champagne and the historical explanations and all the way including a very good dinner. The breakfast was also excellent. The suite overlooking the garden was clean and spacious, the view to the garden is gorgeous. In short, the place is highly recommended.

Deze gastheren halen het onderste uit de kan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Een warme verwelkoming met champagne en hapjes, het ontbijt en avondmaal waren uitstekend. Vincent en Eric zijn terecht trots op hun chateau, ze vertellen met passie over de geschiedenis van het gebouw en hun vroegere bewoners. En ook met de inrichting ervan brengen ze hulde aan het chateau. Vincent communiceerde bij het boeken open en eerlijk over de ravage die een windhoos aanrichtte in de kasteeltuin en de lawaaihinder die de opruimingswerken met zich mee konden brengen. Tevens gaf hij ons de mogelijkheid om onze boeking te verplaatsen of te annuleren. Ik heb de grootste bewondering voor gastheren die hun klanten zo respectvol benaderen, zulke gastheren verdienen geen annulatie, maar onze steun in deze moeilijke tijden. Eerlijk gezegd, de lawaaihinder was zo goed als onbestaande en ondanks de ravage heeft de prachtige tuin meer dan troeven genoeg en er wordt met hart en ziel in gewerkt om hem in al zijn glorie te herstellen. We kijken al uit naar onze volgende trip naar de Champagne, want dan wordt jullie prachtige chateau geen tussenstop maar onze uitvalsbasis. Groeten van Ruth en Bart
