This Auberge Saintlo Hostel has a very nice location in Montreal nearly the Metro and Downtown. The staffs are very friendly and nice and also nice breakfast every morning.

It’s a great place for a solo traveler. It has it’s own bathroom in the room which is great.

Although it is a quad room, it is very quiet and clean. It really surprised me. I stayed for four nights and the girls in the same room were very nice. The basement is a restaurant and entertainment room. If you want to be quiet, you can study and work in the "study room" on the same floor. You can make a lot of good friends there. The transportation is also very convenient, right in the city center. Finally, the front desk staff and all the staff can speak English, haha, 🤗 this is very important!

Apart from being expensive, there are basically no other problems. There are bed curtains, but they don't cover the entire bed. I think this design is a good balance between the privacy of the personal rest space and the openness that a youth hostel should have. p.s. If you mind mixed sex accommodation, choose carefully.
