Le Nouvel Hotel

Good accommodation close to Downtown Montreal. Rooms big, clean, checkin fast. They block 250 CAD on the credit card as a deposit, a normal practice in Canada, even though for us it seems a bit weird. You are supposed to get your money back in some days, however you'll lose something because of the bank rates.

Location was great!!! Pool area needs some TLC. Room was clean and staff were nice. Breakfast 25 dollars. A bit on the pricey side. Food was ok. Convenient for walking to the Bell Centre. 10 min walk.

Friendly, courteous, efficient staff.  Enjoyable, clean facilities. Better more numerous exit signage from P2 would be beneficial.

Room with one queen bed with sofa bed. Queen bed was great, however the sofa bed was absolutely horrible!!! Website should mention renovations ongoing including the restaurant which wasn’t mentioned on their website!! Our room card was required to get to our floor via elevator but wasn’t working most times! Very few luggage Dollies. No breakfast or lunch available as per website. Move on to another establishment!

The Le Nouvel Hotel was conveniently located, however during our stay we booked 5 rooms, somewhat clean (I did find a long piece of hair in the bathroom that didn’t belong to me), staff friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel was going through renovations without notice, front entrance was blocked so you had to use the rear, load noises at night, restaurant was situated in a conference room with limited signage and no bar. Parking was underneath, confusing and could not accommodate larger vehicles. All in all, there are plenty of other hotels in this area with better facilities and amenities for the price. The hotel should have gave us a discount during arrival due to the unannounced and unexpected hotel renovations. I would not be returning.

The executive room was very spacious and fantastic value for money. Totally worth it. Bathroom was lovely

Room is dusty. Not sound proof, I could hear dog barking at night and noise from other rooms. We used their parking but didn’t provide me with invoice and just deducted it from my visa after check out. It would be nice to email me the invoice so I know what I paid for?
