François-Denis Apartments

The room was ok, clean and modern. The window views were too close to the windows of neighboring buildings so we sadly had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants, parks and shops within walking distance, and a short uber ride from old Montreal. The biggest problem is a hidden fee, they inflate the tax value and call it "VAT Tax" which ends up being around 3-4x the normal tax amount, and it turns out that was just how they hide a "Property Fee" while making their rates look lower and more competitive during the booking process, I don't think it's legal to call something tax when it's not being passed to the government! They want to be listed like a hotel and with deceptively lower rates, when it seems they are an AirBNB and need to hide a cleaning fee as Tax.

Getaway for a gal friend and i. Knew the neighborhood but had never stayed there. This place was a great find! Easy check in and the hosts are very reachable if there are any issues... like forgetting your door code! The apartment is clean, well equipped and the beds are nice and comfortable. Mornings and evenings on our balcony were especially nice watching the streetview. The neighborhood is vibrant, safe, and walkable with lots of restos and shopping. Definitely recommend

Had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and I really appreciated the complimentary water in the refrigerator. Highly recommended!

Just stayed her for 4 nights. Great apartment in a great location. We parked at Stade Olympique and used the Metro to get around. This place is on St Denis just south of Mont Royal. It’s a 5 min walk to the Metro and right in the middle of bars, restaurants and shops. Our apt was facing St Denis and we didn’t hear anything at night. It was quite and so clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. Very easy to find and great directions for getting into.

This is an excellent location for parents of McGill Students to stay! Very walkable and lots of great shopping and dining nearby. Owner is also very courteous and responsive to inquiries.

It felt cozy staying in lodgings that were more like an apartment than a hotel. We were a six minute walk from the metro, as well as being near at least two grocery stores, and lots of restaurants and shops. The room we stayed in had rwo separate bedrooms, a kitchenette area, a dining/living room and a bathroom.
