Cedar Creek Lodging & RV Park

We stayed in the Black Canyon cabin. It was very clean and spacious. The guy in the office was very helpful. It was a great combination of rustic and modern for a girl who doesn’t like camping. It had everything you need, running water, heat, a refrigerator with lots of trees around. I would recommend it to friends.

I stayed in a Yurt. It was lovely! The heaters made it nice and comfy.

I didn't stay there because of miscommunication with the code to lock. They sent me a text message to my messages but I was on my vacation and I turned off it.

We stayed in the Creekside Rustic Cabin. It was very comfortable and clean. It was close to the bathrooms which was nice. We really enjoyed relaxing on our deck overlooking the creek.

tiny house comfortable except that the restroom is separate and public. will not complain since the price is not bad.

Our Tiny Home was super cute and very well equipped. The shower was tiny too and difficult to use for my tall husband but we had a lovely overall stay.

We were disappointed with our 9-day stay here. Apparently, we were assigned one of the two worst sites in the campground. What I would characterize as the worst sites are S-43 and S-44. I guess our first clue should have been how washed out the site looked when we got there. The park is named Cedar Creek but if you are assigned either of these sites, you will think the creek is running through your site if it has been raining. This happened on our last day there and we had to hook up to leave the next morning in the mud. It was a real low spot with a need for more gravel. We don’t mind roughing it a little, but not when you’re paying about $50 per night. Also, the sites I mentioned are right across from a maintenance shed which was very active up into the evening with lots of traffic.

Spots are really small. Short & narrow. Barely enough room to put our chairs out. Had to move the pick nick table to be able to open our outside storage. Looks very little like the pictures on line. Make sure you have a really long electric cord, the plug is at the front of the site. Water & sewer in the back. Plenty of shade around the cabins but not much around the rv sites. The breaker on the electric kept tripping on the family next to us, I assume that's why they packed up & left. Very disappointing & definitely not worth the price.

We stayed in Tiny Home #4 for a single night before an early flight out of Montrose the following morning and found that it perfectly served our needs. Check-in was easy enough. We arrived at the campground after the office had closed, and after a moment, we found an envelope with our name taped to the office door with all the necessary information enclosed. The space was clean, quiet, and well suited for a night's sleep, and the appropriate amount of coffee was supplied for my early morning wake-up. We will certainly stay again if I find myself needing to be close to the airport like that again.
