Yay and Ouch
I would have given Zanzibar 10 out of 10 if not for the uncomfortable lounges.
The location, view, rooms and facilities are beautiful and excellent. Sadly our evenings of relaxing in front of a movie didn't work becuase the lounge was too uncomfortable to sit on. This would vary from apartment to apartment but is worth Zanzibar checking on this as it does effect the stay, and people do want to lounge around on holidays. Everything else was supurb.

Magnificent views and location.
Lovely apartment with magnificent views and the location was spot on. Great size with plenty of space. In room full laundry was excellent.
Some of the kitchen items were a little old and it could have been a bit cleaner but all in all very good.

Great view
Great spacious apartment. Everything you needed. Central to everything in Mooloolaba. Only down side it was difficult to step out of the spa/shower, its quite a step if youre short

If only the bed was good..
Great place to stay as close to beach and restaurants. Has a lovely pool as well.
Unit with great views just needs new furniture.Lounge is massive with huge seats, great for young people..outdoor furniture needs updating as wicker chairs falling apart.
Main bed..if you like soft then this one is for you. Once in you dissapear into the mattress and can't get out...not for us and slept in the spare bed instead.
Overall great unit with wondeful views.

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable apartment, but terrible internet. If you need to work from the apartment, you will need to go to the lobby if you need to join a Teams/Zoom meeting or to load big files. It has a smart TV in the room, but streaming could sometimes not load, and even loading images on social media (forget about watching YouTube unless you are happy to go to the lobby every time you wish to view. Reliable internet should be a given, but it's not at Zanzibar.

Zanzibar is perfectly located opposite the beach and close to all Mooloolaba"s attractions. My hubby and I have stayed (with another couple) at Zanzibar the past two years. The apartment has plenty of room for 2 couples and we were able to get one where the single beds could be pushed together to make a King bed. The master has an ensuite with a spa which could be difficult for less agile people to negotiate .. the second bathroom is very satisfactory. The kitchen is well equipped.
