I couldn’t wait to stay at an old (150 years) hotel in S.A. and tick this off my ‘bucket’ list. We were assisted my Adam when we arrived, who ran through some of the history of the pub and made us feel very welcome. We then climbed up the stairs and were taken to our room. I was delighted with the feeling and the ambiance of this upstairs floor, plus the walk down the corridor to use the toilet/bathroom facilities was exactly what the last 150 years of guests had to do too. No ghost sightings but if you want to live history for a day or two, consider the Cornwall hotel,at Moonta. 😃
