beautiful refurbished room in an old manor. pet friendly hotel. cozy library. nice bar/cocktails. very good breakfast. easy walking to Moreton-in-Marsh train station. a good hub for visiting cotswolds.

The hotel is very old and the rooms are much smaller than what you see online. There is a step leading from the room to the bathroom, so it is easy to fall down at night. From check-in to the room, you have to drag your suitcases up a long, narrow and winding staircase. There is no 4 stars at all. The children who came together said that this hotel can only be regarded as 1 star at most 😂. In addition, the facilities are also very old and the hygiene situation is worrying~ The only saving grace is that the restaurant is good~

For a hotel in Cotswold, this hotel is already very good value for money, and it is very close to the train station and bus station. The 801 bus can go to Bourton on the Water and other stations, and I personally prefer Lower slaughteret. online bus timetable
