Very good service and a fabulous room in a quaint and interesting hotel set in an oasis in the middle of Dartmoor. Well worth a stay to experience the ambiance of the hotel and surrounding moorland. We walked up to the wood and back along the leat. Easy, but long!

I only stayed for one night but still experienced as perfect a stay as anyone could/should expect. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. In short,everything was just lovely

Absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and could immediately relax. Our room was stunning (Vivienne Leigh). The service was faultless and the food delicious. We will definitely return.

Really comfortable stay in a superb situation. Spacious room and bathroom, delicious food and wonderful surroundings. Easy access to Dartmoor and thus lovely walking as well as the towns of Princetown, Tavistock, Postbridge and many others too.

Very comfortable beds with modern well finished bathrooms. Lovely historic decor and the dinners and breakfasts are superb. Booking for dinner is essential. The staff were very friendly and efficient and well turned out. The location is idyllic and highly recommended. The WiFi was not good - reconnection always necessary and poor download speed. The outside seating area could do with a clean and the outside furniture needs re-varnishing.

Sorry to say but having been a fairly regular visitor to Two Bridges over the years it has always seemed a likeable place. But went for lunch with some friends today 30th May. The food was not very good at all.. A ploughman’s £18.50 and a Brie and cranberry £7 and a piece of bacon a £1 extra. Sent ploughman’s back as the slice of ham had more fat than meat. B,c and bacon roll was smaller than McDonald’s. Won’t be going for a while after that.

Had an excellent stay here for two nights ,our only negative comments were of a very minor nature. I needed binoculars to see the tv in our room. These days larger televisions are not too expensive. We loved our dinner on the first night of our stay and were really looking forward to our second experience, we were disappointed to find the menu was the same for both nights though in fact it was not difficult to choose an alternative meal, the harpist who was playing in the dining room made the experience special. All staff we met were quietly attentive and friendly ,can’t wait to go again.

From the moment you enter the hotel you are made to feel special - nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are excellent and the food is superb. An amazing place to relax and unwind. The setting, in the heart of Dartmoor is simply stunning. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer !
