The only 4**** hotel in the double city and let's start with the only minimal makel: the pool is already quite small. So, now the positive: a beautiful reception area with several seats speak one when you enter the hotel. I have already offered an espresso once for a long waiting time ... free. The rooms are bright, clean and invited. The seminar room is very large (we have always been there with 2 sports teams of a total of 27 people), and almost all the issues are addressed by the family business as soon as possible and always friendly and politely. I have never experienced an eyeroll or similar. The location is really good, in the middle of the oldest street of the city, 25 meters from a shopping kiosk which has opened 7 days a week from 7:00-21:00h, a often too little attention! There are also acceptable cheaper hostels, but here you return and not just sleep.

Budget hotel, which doesn’t currently accept new arrivals between 2300 - 0600hrs!! Not great for a airport hotel as we arrived on a late flight and was going to be turned away at 2315hrs by staff. Thankfully we managed to convince the staff to let us in or we would have been sleeping in the car. This information about their arrival check-in times isn’t posted on their webpage or made aware when you book a room!! Disappointing indeed. Room wasn’t of a very good standard either. Bedding didn’t fit the duvet and the duvet was a disgusting yellow colour (see picture). Definitely one to mark and avoid in the future for us. I would suggest to others to seek alternative better accommodation in Frankfurt.

We slept here one night prior to a flight back home. We didn't realize they don't have a shuttle but the front desk suggested the bus as an option. (Right now you can get a month long train and bus pass in Germany for 9 Euros). The bus was a great option as we had the 9 Euro pass so the bus was free. It only takes a few minutes longer than a taxi which is 25 euro. The hotel breakfast was lovely. There are a couple nice restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the Martin's Thai. There's no bar or restaurant in this discount hotel. No A/C either. It served our needs just fine.
