Both our rooms were narrow and very dim and smelled bad. We checked in before dinner, just throwing our stuff on the beds. When we got back, we realized the rooms were so dark with all the lights on that I could not read the book I'd brought with me. The comforters felt greasy. The old, dust-filled heater filled the room with a burned smell. We complained and checked out at 7:30. The manager said "I can't refund your money because you set it up through *******" which was a lie. ******* (who called again, on my behalf) explained that ******* could not provide a refund because we'd paid the hotel directly.
