We hosted a large event at the Hilton Parsippany of about 700 people. There was plenty of gathering space and hotel rooms to accommodate a group of our size. The facility was lovely, and had lots of additional space in the lobby for being to gather in smaller groups to work or chat. The rooms were beautiful, but many of our rooms had maintenance issues from doors not locking to leaking toilets to showers that wouldn't drain. All of the staff were amazing, working hard to make sure our event was a success. The staff did everything they could at all hours to deal with every issue that came up, not resting until we were taken care of. Also, all of the food was also amazing - our guests raved at every meal we had. There were a few things that weren't great. The women's bathrooms were a little run down with most of the sinks not working. We had significant power and internet issues in the main ballroom, and WIFI was poor, even when purchasing premium. Also, the booking staff didn't notify us that when booking in smaller blocks the cardholder had to be present for the entire group to check in. This caused significant problems for the front desk staff as well as my registration staff. Overall, I think that many of these issues can be addressed if we use the Hilton again in the future. I would definitely work with them again as the majority of our guests had a wonderful time.
