I generally will not write a bad review - would prefer to discuss negative issues directly with hotel management, however, in this case hotel management did not respond to multiple outreaches. Most awful experience was when we went to get our wallets out of the room safe the morning of our flight and found the safe to be “dead.” Poor guy at front desk struggled to help and after 1 1/2 hours, got safe open, but flight was missed. Most frustrating was that in addition to staff not having access to maintenance in early am when we were to leave for our flight, the manager "doesn't work weekends,"and has yet to contact me as requested. Other issues: bathroom had very bad sewage smell coming from shower and toilet, room was never cleaned during 3 night stay. Asked front desk on day 2 and was told that housekeeping is by request only, as informed in check in. I said that I had’t been told - and she became antagonistic. Requested housekeeping that day but needless to say, I did not get housekeeping services during my 3 night stay. This is a truly poorly run hotel - made an otherwise lovely occasion (attending family wedding) very stressful and unpleasant.
