It is a high-end property with particularly attentive staff. I just really like the place but I go back there because of the staff; genuine folks.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Governor Morris. It's easy to get to and right near the Frelinghuysen Arboretum—beautiful hiking trails. I was in the area for an event at the Madison Art Center–the hotel was conveniently located about seven minutes away. As a titanium elite member, I was able to receive an upgrade to a large junior suite. We ordered room service because we needed a very early dinner, and there was no restaurant open at 4 p.m. We were blown away by the quality of the room service; it was incredibly delicious and nicely presented. In the morning, we got the free continental breakfast (offered to Platinum and above Bonvoy members). It's in the restaurant, but they just bring you a plate of yogurt, fruit cup, and then your choice of toast, a bagel, or a pastry. And you get orange juice and coffee. It was fine, nothing special. We got a late checkout which is always a nice extra. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The shower was good, bed was comfortable, etc. Our only suggestion was that the second room of the suite was a bit sp**** and it could use some more furniture. There was no coffee table in front of the coach, there should have been a few more chairs and perhaps another coach, and the lighting was minimal. (And the bedroom had the blackout shades but the vanity shade was missing.) The suite was enormous (long hall when you first walk in the door); it looked like it was previously some other type of room used for business before it was made into a suite. But overall, a great stay. Will definitely return.

Don’t be surprised but the entrance is in the back .Looks like a school brick building . The hotel inside is very nice check in was simple . Mattresses were comfortable but the pillows were extra soft zero support we had a hard time getting comfortable bring your own pillows . The gave a door man who was nice but felt obligated to tip Didn’t eat in restaurant but looked good .Not a great value overall but it worked for 1 night .

Property was nice. However carpets in room were stained peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Staff were nice but hard to find when trying to get assistance. Overall nice hotel but expected more based on what they hype.

This hotel is more like a run down motel. There is no service or staff. I arrived at 10:30pm after a long day of travel to find that there is no bell staff at all. I had to haul my three bags by myself to my room. Really? A Westin with no bell staff to provide luggage assistance? I get to my room to find the mini fridge is not working. Next morning, I head down to get the Platinum Elite Continental breakfast to go. A stale bagel. 4 pieces of over ripe green melon and they charged me an extra $6 to get a latte! The walls are paper thin and for whatever reason, they clustered all 5 guests that were in the hotel into one corner of the 5th floor. So when someone decided to take a shower at 2:14am, it sounded like the flood gates had opened in my room and I was awakened from a sound sleep. There were other annoying things that kept happening, too many to go into here. On the morning when I was checking out, I called service express and asked for help to get my luggage downstairs. Once again, I was told that they had no staff to help with this. I asked if someone can deliver a luggage cart to my room and was told no. Don't stay here. I paid $305 per night when taxes and fees are added. I could've had a better experience at a Motel 6.

Phone in room never worked...told front desk first day, was never fixed. Shower water came down from overhead, impossible to take shower without getting hair wet. TV control worked poorly, ? Bad batteries? Ordered room service once, ordered red wine and it came up white (room service attendant apologized and fixed very quickly, she was really good!), Workout room had ellipticals with TV, but only if you paid for it...that's pretty cheap, considering room cost! Went out to car last day (Sunday)...about 7:30 am, glass wine bottle broken at the bottom, ready to enter a tire, in parking lot just behind car next to me.
