Called for 3 days trying to make reservation for our 25th wedding anniversary that originally was celebrated there, wedding, reception and stay. Never got a return call Still stayed but had to book through 3 rd party They just didn’t seem to care. Had hoped to have a special day but as it turned out was just a night away from home.

The other reviews praising the ambience and staff attentiveness are true. What they don't say is that there is a nearby train crossing, with loud, long, repeated train whistles all night long, at some points as frequent as every 20 minutes. On Sunday night, there was a break in trains from midnight to 4:45 am. On Monday night, they continued through the night. I was told they had given me the quietest option -- on the first floor, and that it was even louder on the lower floors. But it woke me up even with earplugs and a pillow over my head. If you are not a deep sleeper, beware!

Place was clean, they are organized and very friendly. Went to a wedding and the wedding from start to finish was excellent! The reception was organized and flow was maintained.

Madison Hotel is comfortable, and the service is great. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails are nice additions. The staff is helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. Their ballroom is beautiful. Check in was easy and the room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I just had a wedding here April 2024. It was amazing! The arboretum was beautiful. The maitre d' Caroline was stellar and very good at making everything work without much prompting. They also checked in a lot with us throughout the process. The hotel does a good job providing you with vendors who know what they are doing. It was a brunch wedding. The food was great. The dance floor was perfect. The staff moved like clockwork to move from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. Hands down a great experience. As per the other commentators, it is a pricey venue BUT for a wedding it was worth it. They did an excellent job. The staff were quite accommodating when I made a mistake in scheduling our rooms with the hotel. They also helped my wife and I with last minute flower disposal that we didn't recognize we needed to do (They saved our center pieces which was put in borrowed tea pots so we had to save those rather than give them away). We didn't recognize that the florist wouldn't just take the flowers. They saved the center pieces with the flowers attached and helped us dispose of the flowers when we realized we couldn't carry it all home. These people were really awesome! If you're holding a wedding here I highly highly recommend them.
