First of all: I was on holiday in mid/late September and paid around €50 per night. I usually never travel during peak times, but mostly in the off-season. In mid/late September, as always, everything is much more relaxed and quiet. My rating is based on this. - Overall, a nice and well-kept hotel. - I was pleasantly surprised by the price/performance ratio. - You should always add the daily parking fee of €11 to the price. - The staff were all friendly and helpful. (I simply cannot understand some of the negative reviews here. As always, "what goes around comes around...") - I had booked the simplest room. Yes, it was small, but perfectly adequate for me and for a beach holiday. - Bathroom very small, but also adequate for me as a solo traveller. - Everything was clean - Breakfast was super plentiful - Dinner: a standard buffet, as I know it from other 4-star hotels in Croatia. I only used it sometimes myself, as it was automatically a half-board booking and I often ate in the surrounding (highly recommended) restaurants. When I ate in the hotel, I was always very late and still noticed that everything was always replenished right up until the end. - Wellness area: small and nice - Indoor pool is showing its age. I didn't use it - The outdoor pool wasn't particularly appealing to me, but since the beautiful beach is only 20m away, I didn't mind - The location is great. Close to the beach and absolutely central in the small town.

In general, I was happy with my room. 2 points deducted for cleanliness, as there was a long black hair in the shower and next to the toilet. The breakfast was very extensive. If I were to visit again, I would go to one of the restaurants on the beach for dinner.

The advantage of the hotel is its location. Everything is close, the beach 100 meters, outdoor swimming pool 50 m, indoor swimming pool 50 m, shop 100 m, parking in front of the hotel. There were no problems with parking, but parking is expensive at 12 euros per day. It is not possible to park somewhere nearby without incurring similar fees. The superior room is large enough, comfortable beds, a balcony of adequate size, but beware - noisy ventilation devices operating until 11 p.m. The bathroom is okay, clean. Adequate amount of space in wardrobes. The meals are of very good quality, varied, there is a very large selection of main courses, appetizers and desserts. The restaurant is large, comfortable, with adequate spacing between tables. Seafood prepared well, fish also in a large selection. Wine and beer for lunch and dinner. No queues for buffets. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was not cleaned. The indoor swimming pool is of an appropriate size and has a good water temperature, but the roof requires renovation, even painting. SPA small but clean and adequate. There are also ping-pong tables. Really close to the beach, actually a hotel on the beach, but very crowded, no natural shade, only umbrellas for rent. The downside was the work of the loungers, they actually did nothing except hide so that no one would want them. For example - not cleaning the hotel deckchairs, a lot of garbage, they did not distribute the mattresses to the deckchairs and left them dirty. When a storm came and broke a tree, devastated a large area with deckchairs, an external company very efficiently removed the broken tree in two hours, and then the deckchair workers raked a few twigs until the end of the day, and they still left a lot of broken glass because they didn't want to collect it.

Ottimo!

An amateur and arrogant management. I have been going to this hotel for over 13 years and have always received respect. This time as always and like 2 weeks ago I booked directly by communicating my credit card to confirm. Upon my arrival at the hotel I was asked to pay in advance for my stay. Never happened before. I said that they would have my credit card as guarantee but the alternative to prepayment could have been for me to hand over my identity card. I believe this is illegal and I will inform myself about it. I asked to speak to the Director who told me that the Liburnia company of which the hotel is part CHANGED THE REGULATIONS 5 DAYS AGO. It's a shame that this harassment is not mentioned on the Liburnia website. I don't think I will return to this hotel managed with such arrogance. I advise against it.

We went as a family of 3 in one room + extra bed. I slept on the extra bed (which is some sort of foldable sleep couch) and although there was a slightly hard line in the middle, I was able to sleep well. It even has a curtain to make it seem like a little extra room. The AC was very loud and very cold. On our last day we found the hidden switch behind the curtains so make sure to thoroughly check or ask the staff at the reception. Speaking of which, we had to go down there and ask for help with several things and the staff was always friendly and helpful. There's always someone at the reception, 24/7 Many of them speak German but going without English knowledge would make your trip a bit more difficult. People in the shops and cafés around the Hotel also speak both languages and also Italian. The hotel has a 1,35m deep pool and less than a minute to the beach. Make sure to pack water shoes though as it's not a Sandy beach but has pebbles. The water is fantastic btw. There is a supermarket (Konsum) right next to the hotel so you can buy whatever you might need there. Surprisingly there's a good bus connection to Opatija and Rijeka as well. Just ask the reception staff for a bus plan and they'll explain everything. Google maps also helps with that. Our 7 year old enjoyed the Kids club and the kids disco with mascot Liri which is every night at 8pm. The disco is usually followed by performances like dance shows and a clown. The dancers are talented and put a lot of effort into their shows. They even went around to talk with the guests, take pictures with the kids and it's been enjoyable to watch for adults as well. The food at the hotel was really good and there were always 4-5 different dishes to choose from, but their German translation occasionally lacked a correct translation. Make sure to bring a phone to translate (English is always there) or ask the staff. There's always a salad bar and they also offer cakes and ice cream (although the latter only in the evenings) We've had a great stay at the hotel and would recommend it. Again, shout-out to the really friendly dancers of the show, it was a pleasure talking to you.

After three years we wanted to give the hotel another chance and were bitterly disappointed. Positive: The only positive thing is that the safe in the room and the air conditioning (partially) work compared to 2020. Negative: Air conditioning: It is 27/28 degrees in the rooms and the air conditioning does not cool below 24 degrees because it is controlled that way by the hotel. Even cooling these three degrees took five hours at an unbelievable volume. For some that may be enough, but not for us. The air conditioning does not maintain the 24 degrees, but switches off and only comes back on at 24.5/25 degrees. The room has thus heated up considerably again. A technician wanted to come into the room but never came. The poor guy must have gotten lost in the "huge" complex. Food: The food is, as much as we are sorry to have to say, abysmal. At dinner (only 7-9 p.m.) a good 2/3 of the countertops are empty. The little that is there is not replenished, it is often ice cold, the rest is an indefinable mush. The pasta tastes like the risotto, the vegetables and the casserole - namely of nothing. Everything together is unseasoned, unloving and completely overcooked. The kids' corner was completely empty, nothing, nothing at all. For lunch (only from 12:30-2 p.m.) the previous evening's food is again processed into a casserole or stew. Here at least there was bread, which was not the case the night before. We saved ourselves breakfast and dinner. Staff: Reception (especially female) quite unfriendly and when asked questions, rude in an annoyed, arrogant and didactic tone. As if you were stupid, you are told the same thing five times, which neither answers the question nor solves the problem. Example: We had neither soap nor shower gel in the room, whereupon two different reception staff explained to us that we had to press harder because the soap might just have dried up. The containers are empty, there was nothing to press. In two days, nothing was refilled, with various excuses, and we didn't get any soap either. The room is extremely thin, you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms and the hallway. The mattress is awful, as soon as one partner turns, the other is rocked all over. The shower is designed in such a way that when you shower, the whole bathroom is flooded. Conclusion: management failure, what goes on there is dictated by someone. 0 stars, 0 service, price/performance catastrophe as it is not exactly cheap. We left early and will definitely never come back.

the furnishings, location and staff were OK. We didn't like the fact that the sufficiently large parking lot costs 22 euros extra per day. The food offered with half board is very reminiscent of a canteen and not a 4-star hotel. During our stay, plastic was burned within sight about 50 m as the crow flies and we couldn't leave the balcony door open because of the enormous smell. We won't book this hotel again!

Hotel needs some renovation and it doesn’t look like on the photos on the liburnia hotels site. Placemats that are put on a table in this hotel with 4* should have go to trash many years ago. Swimming pool is very small.
