It was great! Even though I only understood a little English and it was raining, I still enjoyed myself. The animals were sleeping and the zoo was empty early in the morning, which felt special. But be careful, there are no hair dryers!
I was very satisfied with the dingoes, platypuses, wombats and Tasmanian devils in the zoo.

It was a perfect experience. The tour guide staff were very friendly and one of them could speak Chinese. The guided tour starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 10:00 pm, and starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:30 pm the next morning. The itinerary was tight, and it was during a time when it was not open to the public, so it felt like the zoo was open to private individuals. Although the accommodation environment is a tent, it is simple but not shabby, and it is convenient to wash and shower.

Alison, Sam, Waz, Rider and the team were amazing on our experience @ Roar and Snore. From the time we were picked up from the front gate to the time the tour ended we felt completely looked after. The information/facts which were discussed were facts that we were not aware of previously. It was great to get a guided tour of all the facilities and the behind the scenes activities with the animals. Strongly recommend doing this with your family as we had a great time together.

It was an amazing experience. The breakfast and canapés were good but the dinner was not as good maybe could have had something a little different as not everyone eats that type of food . Bit apart from that everything and everyone was amazing. Would do it again and would definitely recommend it to others

Despite lots of rain around we had a wonderful experience. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowlegeable. The tents were clean, the beds were comfortable enough and the facilities were great. Plenty of good food and a variety of drinks available and waterproof ponchos were supplied. We saw lots of wildlife - what we didn't see on the night walks we saw early next morning before the crowds which was a bonus.

The whole experience was both amazing and educational- the staff who looked after our group of 40 were consummate professionals who clearly loved and were passionate about their zoo and the animals within. They were kind, engaging and attentive. This by far and away the best night/day activity I have ever had in Sydney. I highly recommend it to both Sydney side ers and visitors from elsewhere as a must stay

A wonderful experience for our family of seven. Passionate experts to guide us and the night view from our 'tent' memorable. Thanks Taronga for arranging a full moon! For many in our group this was the third Roar and Snore which indicates just how good it is.

I didn’t want to go but my wife made me. So happy she did cause I loved it. It was great to see the zoo at night and in the morning with out thousands of members of the public around. The Zoo keepers spent the time with us and we never felt rushed to move on

This was a wonderful experience. I am not a camper at all, but this was ‘glamping’. Comfortable beds, facilities & accommodation. And you could not get a better view than this over SYD harbour at dusk and dawn. The food and drinks were tasty and plentiful. The guides were with us from start to finish, and couldn’t be any more helpful and friendly than they were. They were informative, tolerant of our silly questions, and passionate. Loved the interaction with the animals and being able to see and visit them without all the crowds. The whole adventure was run very smoothly. Absolutely no complaints.
