The Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa

An excellent hotel with wonderful, responsive staff. The room had everything we needed and a balcony with a stunning view. Of all the hotels we stayed in Okinawa this one was the cleanest. There were 4 free beers in the fridge and free drinks from 3 to 10 p.m. The restaurant served excellent, delicious food. It's a sad that the beach was closed due to a typhoon and jellyfish. However, 2 pools were open, both with warm water. If I return to Okinawa, I'll definitely stay at this magnificent hotel.

Breakfast was included and had a great spread. We also enjoyed the beach that was steps from the resort and was very clean, had beautiful sand and water. There was also the outdoor pool and a fun Orion gift shop. There’s welcome drinks and we got to try Orion Watta. The room was clean and the view we had was amazing. Steps from the aquarium and a Family Mart as well. R

Accommodation Note The rooms are impressively spacious by Japanese standards and the location is right in between Churaumi Aquarium and Bise Fukugi Tree Road by foot!!! Guest Tip: Ensure you are present at your balcony to embrace the magnificent sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort.

So convenient just next to aquarium. Big room space. Nice complimentary Orion beers. But too bad you need to pay for the Onsen.

The hotel is really far away from the city and the restaurants are always fully booked during the busy holidays. During our stay, the weather was not good so we have to stay indoor for activities but there are only limited activities for children and the gym closed too early. However the view of the hotel is superb. Recommend to go there at summer time.
