Hotel Mahaina Wellness Resort Okinawa

I chose this hotel mainly because the price is right and the space is relatively large. It has two beds and a tatami space that can sleep three people. We are a family of four and living here is relatively comfortable. However, after actually checking in, I found that the biggest problem with this hotel is that the sound insulation on the floors is very poor, and the noise from upstairs can be heard. On the first night, the people living upstairs made three loud noises in the middle of the night. I don't know if they were people falling or throwing things, and then I heard people cursing. I was awakened three times in my sleep. Although there were no problems like the first day in the next two days, the sound of people walking upstairs could be heard. Especially on the third night, there must have been a small but walking child living upstairs, and I was woken up several times by the sound of the child walking throughout the night. I didn't sleep well these three nights. The hotel is quite old. To communicate with hotel staff, it is still difficult to communicate in English if you don't know Japanese. You can smell strong chemicals when bathing in hot springs. I'm not sure if this is normal in Japan, but I personally don't like it.

During this trip to Okinawa, swimming was the number one priority for the children, but unfortunately, it was raining a lot so they couldn't play at the beach. This accommodation has an outdoor pool and an indoor swimmer, so I was able to have fun~ The outdoor pool can be used during the day (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) and the indoor pool (5 p.m.-9 p.m.). The staff were also very friendly. I stayed there for two days and the room was spacious and I was able to get along well with the kids. The facility was built a little while ago so it felt a bit old, but it was clean and didn't smell, so it wasn't uncomfortable. I want to use it again next time😊

9개월 아기 2명과 2집 가족끼리 다녀왔어요 다다미와 침대가 같이 있고 방이 넓어요 다다미에 까는 매트리스가 좀 오래됐는지 누렇거라구요 깨끗한 커버를 셀프로 씌워서 쓰는거더라구요 씌워져 있었으면 몰랐을텐데 ㅋㅋ 건물은 연식이 있어보였는데 작응 부엌도 있고 욕실도 크고 깨끗했어요 1박만 하느라 대욕탕은 이용을 못했는데 2박 이상 묵으실꺼면 대욕탕 이용하시면 좋을 것 같아요

There are old and new buildings. The overall difference is very different. The water column is very small. The hot springs in the large public bath are good. It is recommended that friends who want to go there can go directly to the large public bath and take a bath in the hot spring before going upstairs ~ The lights in the old hotel room were dim and not OK~ The walkway to the room was very dim and scary🫣 I have to pay extra to change rooms before I can go to the new hotel~~ I will increase the price by 12,000 yen🤦♀️ But the service staff is nice~help me solve the room problem attentively There are a lot of delicious food downstairs~ I personally think the breakfast is just average.

I was very satisfied with the hot springs. There were also general stores and restaurants next door, so it was very convenient. I would like to use it again.

방도 넓고 화장실도 넓고 깨끗하고 위치 좋고 식당 스벅 다 가깝고 주차 좋고 대욕장 진짜 좋아요 가성비 갑 츄라우미랑 진짜 가까워요

This hotel has large rooms, hot spring baths, good facilities, and a terrace with sea views. It's just a bit old, it's a traditional hot spring hotel. Self-driving tours are also good, with free parking.
