Das Navi führt einen über eine Buckelpiste zur Hintertür. Der Weg zum Haupttor ist nicht im Navi angelegt (Feldweg). Hinweisschild an der Hauptstraße leicht zu übersehen, abbremsen auf null um einzubiegen nötig!
Kommunikation außer Spanisch schwierig. Kein Service, kaum Menschen/Ansprechpartner. Haus von außen toll, wunderschöne Anlage. 60 km bis Alhambra in unter einer Stunde gut zu schaffen

Espectacular Palecete cerca de Motril. Romántico, discreto y elegante ideal para unos días en pareja. Las zonas comunes muy agradables y los jardines excelentes. Nosotros tuvimos la Suite Havana, muy romántica. Julio y su equipo super agradables.

Stayed unfortunately only one night here in the suite. Because of the pandemic we were the only guests, but we felt at home. Everything was to our satisfaction, the room as well as the dinner and breakfast.

Tenemos amplia experiencia internacional por haber vivido fuera de España durante muchos años, la Casa de los Bates siempre figurará para nosotros entre los lugares destacados. Ahora que hemos regresado, y además puesto que nuestra residencia actual es más cercana, tenemos la intención de visitar con frecuencia esta única e insólita Casa. Nuestro particular agradecimiento al director Iñaki Rodríguez, de insuperable amabilidad, y a Philippe, magnífico chef.

He ido en varias ocasiones a celebrar momentos importantes y siempre hemos recibido un trato excepcional por parte de todo el personal (atentos, serviciales, educados). Sin duda es un lugar espectacular donde celebrar eventos tanto por su emplazamiento como por sus jardines. Os lo recomiendo al 100% para cualquier evento!!

I don't think I've ever been so badly received in a hotel! A teenager shows us the room and gives us the hours of breakfast. And then, for the rest, there is NOBODY! We manage, we search. No reception. There are 4 deckchairs at the pool. HOT pool and very little water. It looks like an old bath for kings… Packets of cigarettes are lying around the edge of the swimming pool. No bar, no one to offer you a drink. For breakfast, we looked for where it was. There was nobody. The teenager who bathed her feet in the pool was asked. we received a roll cut in half and we had the choice between jam and Spanish pâté in an aluminum tray!!! A juice and a glass of water. A tomato soup. POINT. If you're still hungry, too bad! Crazy for a hotel of this style! Certainly, the room is beautiful and the house and its gardens are charming. But it stops there! Motril is a seaside resort without any interest.

We spend 5 beautiful days in here , it was like an oasis of relaxation , surrounded by nature and the house is so beautiful, the room and the toilet big and clean , I absolutely love it. Every corner was full of charm and the staff kind and respectful, definitely we will go again.
