Very clean and great air conditioning. Interior entrance. Great ice machine. The main reason I chose this motel is because of the reviews about their amazing hot breakfast, but they don't serve a hot breakfast anymore. No refrigerator or microwave in room.

We stayed here last night 10/22. Rooms are VERY clean and you will have a hot shower. Deco of rooms are 70ish. Were charged extra for using credit card . Advertised a hot breakfast. We left before breakfast hours but were told you put it in the microwave. Not exactly our idea of a hot breakfast. Rates are in our estimation high for what you get.

Hard to understand the great reviews this place gets. Really basic - and I mean basic accommodations. Yes, it was rather clean, but the cinder block walls, the bed that must have been fifty years old and felt like it, the lack of basic amenities like a box of tissues, coffee maker or microwave, and the overall grimness of the place did not come close to justifying the $140 tax inclusive rate for a dog friendly room. This is the last time I will consider a mom and pop establishment. Do your self a favor and book a chain motel in St. Joseph if you ever come through this area.

My husband and I stayed there on our trip from Wyoming to South Carolina along with our dog. Everything was top notch. The owner was very accomodating and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

The motel front lobby had a nice setup upon arrival along with a simple check in process. Unfortunately we were not met with the same hospitality or friendly face at time of departure. My sister, husband, our son, and I traveled to WhiteCloud, KS for a ceremonial Native American event. My husband and son had planned to camp with our family at the event while my sister and I were going to stay at the motel. Due to a long day in the heat and being overtired our son started to feel ill. We decided to have my husband and our son go ahead and stay in the room. We arrived back at the room at 3am and did not want to disturb the owner at the hour of the early morning. Before checking out we began to load the car with our luggage and the owner came out very aggressive and approached us in a disrespectful manner about the two extras staying in the room. Before allowing me to calmly explain the sudden change of our plans and pay for the two extra persons stay, he escalated the situation by yelling. To the point our son began crying out of fear of what the man might do. I politely asked the owner “can you please refrain from yelling as our son is crying and scared due to your behavior?” Which he yelled “I don’t care!” We had absolutely no issue paying for my husband and son’s last minute stay, but were never given the opportunity to simply rectify the change and handle in a proper manner. My sister paid the difference as my husband and I calmed our son down from his heightened state of fear. Once we calmed our son, I returned to the front lobby to checkout and return the keys. There was no apology for his actions or scaring our son to the point of tears. Now trying to look at fun things to do to turn this day around for our family after such a horrible departure from Audrey’s Motel.

The cleanest and best maintained room in 4800+ miles of vacation. As a "boomer" it was a step back to mid-century modern, with an emphasis on modern. Everything needed for a good night's sleep, including a very comfortable bed! There aren't many options on this stretch of I-29, it was a genuine delight to find Audrey's!!

My wife and I stayed there on our way to Utah. First it was wonderful seeing the owner working the front desk. We were drawn to Audrey's because the owner Hank is a brother veteran and bike rider. The pros owner on site. The owner speaks fluent English. The rooms are clean, nice clean grilling area with picnic tables. The place is quiet and the water is hot. Rags are provided so you can wipe down your bike. The cons price is a little high. Probably should be a 70.00/night hotel. No coffee pot in the room. The advertised hot breakfast is non existent. I would stay again if I was in this town.

Had the most important elements...comfortable bed, quiet, & CLEAN! Older place with no frills, but did I mention how CLEAN it was? We didn't feel like we had to watch out window to see if anyone was going to break into the vehicle. And the floors, bedding, bathroom was so CLEAN!!

Clean, quiet, safe, reasonably priced! Close to 29 but it was quiet in the room. The only thing I could say was no coffee I. The room but coffee was ready and abundant in the lobby in the morning. Always good to support the “Mom and Pops” Thanks for the stay.
