Hotel Gorbandh Mount Abu

If you wish a restful stay in Mount Abu, please do not stay at this hotel. When I contacted the hotel to book my room, they sent me some pics. I was quite impressed and sent the advance. When I reached there they showed me two rooms which were small, stuffy, dirty with no ventilation. Upon venting my anger they gave me two rooms, somewhat decent but equally dirty. The hotel is unkempt. The curtains dirty and the furniture shabby. The restaurant is equally dirty and the food nothing to write home about. The *** call Vijay at the reception is rude and unwelcoming. The charged me Rs 4700 for each room but it was not worth the money. The wi fi hardly works. There are frequent power cuts but no generator. There is a electric kettle kept but no tea bags The hotel is pathetic and looks as sad as the boxer kept constantly chained at the gate

Worst experience with the reservation lady. I asked are to connect me with the manager , and she is telling no I won't transfer the line after calling again she started using bad language. What a disappointment. After staying in gorband many times before are facing this problem. Owner please have a look at the matter.

What a below normal hotel.Washroom has no toilet paper,no bath curtain,no bucket.Wash basin has seepage and flowing water beneath.No proper light in room..Tv is there but non functinal.Phone was there but set was not working,then they changed the set. Staff is courteous but unskilled,men from typical Rajasthan rural uneducated lot. No question of refrigerator.Chairs and a small 2 feet circular table were 10-15 years old.No polish or varnish on furniture. No body get up before 7 am.Tea making kettle is there but no milk or tea pouches.So you can only heat water in this kettle.The front of hotel was not even cemented and on main road.No greenery or fresh air here.Hotel is not worth Rs.1K per day.You can look the rates on different sites,they vary from 500 to 1000 per day.You can choose any budget hotel that would be better.Fake 3 star hotel is described.Always avoid choosing it from distance.Come,see and then decide.R N Chaturvedi,Noida

This hotel is just like a very very comfortable stay. Beautiful location, away from crowded locations, best service of staff, tasty food. Rooms are very clean and large. One can stay here for an excellent experience.

Great Stay and good hotel ,hotel staff is very good . Rooms are very spacious and cleaned ..———————————-....... Thank all staff and management for making our stay comfortable . Food was very nice served in restaurant.

Booked this hotel for my friend and family for 2 nights. After check in it was a nightmare for them. Charged 5000/- per night from me. The room offered to them was full of mosquitoes, this is yesterday's story and expeeience. broken window panes. Seepage in walls with smell of locked room for long time. Requested them to change the room. They did change but it was the same case as previous room. Unfortunately my friend missed to click fotos of the area. As they were completely disappointed with my choice offered to them. My friend then decided to stay for one night somehow and chkd out today in the morning. Morning when they asked for breakfast to the reception guy. The only staff at front office said they don't have breakfast for them in stay plan and they will still provide them paratha and curd as courtesy. A hotel who is booking the room on MAP (dinner and breakfast included) does not have the instructions to kitchen and front office for the meal plan. Today they chkd out from this hotel. And shifted to some other hotel. I would suggest whosoever is planning to book this hotel. Kindly chk the present photos uploaded by guests or chk the services. Though the owner is very polite and cooperativ. But when you do t meet the service standards then it is of no use for anyone. I suggest the hotel management to go repairing work and professional management for a better representation of Gorbandh as a hotel though it is nothing better than a guest house. Also they mentioned at dinner time that near their wash basin attached to kitchen, street dog is sitting inside at the premises. I deeply express apology to my friend for offering such a hotel with poor standard of services and amenities. I have attached the guest comment copy on WhatsApp for proof.

Where do I start!!!! Arrived to be told after unloading our luggage , that they had absolutely no reservation for us.. strange as the 50 % deposit had been paid directly into their bank account as instructed 6weeks before our arrival date. Attitude was aweful, no ducks given..... When we looked later that evening the rooms we had booked were on line at inflated prices, totally unimpressed with the whole experience!

I didn’t even get to stay here, despite my booking on Agoda and 50% deposit paid directly into their bank as requested 6 weeks before my arrival date. On check in we were told my booking was not on the system and they had no record of my payment as they hadn’t received it from Agoda - of course they hadn’t, I paid it directly into their bank account as they’d asked for - ***** with my name and date of arrival as the reference which I had on my phone to show them to no avail… but we could stay 1 night if we wished (which was magically the same amount as what I had paid) or to save shifting we could just go to their other hotel right away for the same price… that is what we did but it was a mistake. Especially when I looked later that evening and it showed availability for the room type I had booked but at a much higher tariff… very unprofessional.

This hotel is very near to all attraction points like Asher Devi temple,Delwara Jain temple,Nakki lake,Honeymoon point etc.It was fine staying here with family,spacious room,and tasty food,nice stay with HOTEL GORBANDH. THANKS.
