A lovely lodge in a lovely quiet mountain setting--just gorgeous! It is an old fashioned, aged lady, showing signs of wear but in a charming way. (And the new owners are renovating as fast as they can!) The service was personable, friendly, and very helpful; two agile fellows carted our belongings up the wide, curving staircase with alacrity. The food was extremely tasty, well-prepared, and served quickly. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony marvelous. We even enjoyed the quirky semi-spookiness of the long windowless halls. If it's *******, they are friendly ghosts, like a fun Hotel California.

Not a 5 star hotel, but didn't expect it, food was very good at the restaurant, coffee was good at the snack bar. It was a pleasant experience, room need updating, bed was very comfortable that's good enough for me.

Wrong room given, accused of smoking in room and charged for it and I don’t smoke so it’s not possible. Restaurant was overpriced and food quality was sub par. Neighboring room where loud and smoking on balcony. No elevators so had to struggle to the third floor.

Staff was nice & helpful. Room was ok, but it was very noisy in hallway. The restaurant was way overpriced. I ordered the tomato soup and I think I got spaghetti sauce, it was very thick. I split the prime rib dinner with my daughter, 12yrs old, and they didn't even give me an extra plate. The prime rib was on top of the mashed potatoes & the vegetables, I had nowhere to cut the prime rib. Dinner for the two of us but we split it was $63+ and we got the breakfast buffet for 2 of us was $52.

Convenient access to the mountains and snow. The water took awhile to warm in morning, the carpet in the room is worn and old. The bathroom could’ve used a second wiping. The lobby is really nice, roomy and airy with classic Lodge Decor.

Public bathrooms in lobby were filthy. Menu was limited and food was just ok. Bartender Toni was awesome! Front desk girl was nice but our room wasn’t ready til after 4:00pm.

Ponto positivo a localização!

La estancia fue bonita, se disfruta mucho el paisaje. Lo único no muy grato fue el restaurante que no tiene mucha variedad de alimentos y no pudimos entrar al bar porque es muy pequeño y estaba siempre lleno, Los empleados son muy amables.
