Days Inn by Wyndham Budd Lake

We had a terrific stay for one night, just passing through on our way to our teenager's overnight camp. I read quite a few reviews, majority quite positive, but held my breath because of the few negative reviews I read... NO WORRIES! This place was delightful. Very attentive and accommodating Indian family who own and run the place. Couldn't have been kept cleaner! No significant stains or musty odors. Excellent location right off the freeway, well lit, convenient to restaurants, gas stations, other retail. Based on other reviews, asked for rooms in the back, not facing the street. We had adjoining rooms that were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast nothing special but met our needs, and you can supplement with "Mt Olive Bagels" which is a great bagel/deli/coffee place right across the street. This isn't a fancy or luxurious place, but it is clean and quiet and comfortable and well managed by friendly and accommodating people. We'll be back!!

Good experience but no breakfast buffet as it’s advertised in the commercials just a dry stable limit to little selection. Needs to be revamped.

The guy that checked us in was really awkward but the room was decent. Would stay again.

I booked the deluxe suite. The spa tub was wonderful even though it was the cold handle. No big deal, I could turn it by hand. Regular tub was a bit beaten up. But you really can't beat the price. Staff was wonderful.

It was noisy. Trouble getting/staying asleep. No daily newspaper, as promised. Little/no drainage in parking lot so it was difficult to walk/manage through the water. Not fond of the wall-attached amenities in the bathroom. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was just okay.

We always stay here when I’m the area. The hotel is very clean and the staff and kind and friendly. We always sleep well here and enjoy the breakfast. We like the free wifi. The hotel is very conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. And the room price is reasonable as well.

You get what you pay for. I would stay again. No problem.

Staff wasn’t helpful in changing our room since it looked to a flooded roof. Bed sheets were stained. Pillows had a used smell and weren’t really clean. Room/wood accents on the wall condition was poor and dusty. Bathtub was painted and chipping. Would recommend to take a box of Clorox wipes to wipe everything down and bring your own pillows. Breakfast is very low quality and simple. I know it is a reasonable stay but the condition and atmosphere let you feel like you paid too much.
