Hotels near Union Church of Pocantico Hills in Mount Pleasant

I'm sure that if you need a bed to sleep in, this place is fine. Do not have a situation or circumstance that requires manager assistance, forget it! I'm a travel nurse working for a nearby hospital. The night before my scheduled reservation, I tested positive for covid. I immediately contacted the hotel to let them know, and was old to forward my results to the managers email address, and they would refund my stay. I sent the results the next day and called to follow up a few days later. I was told the manager was out and to call in 2 days after 3pm. This happened several times for a few weeks before I actually received correspondence from the manager stating that I would need to contact Priceline to get the refund authorized. I immediately called them and they went through the same process with contacting the manager as I did. Eventually, she declined to give he refund. I hen escalated to the Better Business Bureau, and she chose not to respond to that either. I even attempted to reach back out via email thinking she may empathize with my situation and again, she chose not to respond at all. I'm disgusted at this behavior and will not choose them again.

So this is an old Holiday inn that was rebranded in Sept 2021. No secrets here. When you get in you think it's a pretty nice place, lots of common area that are nice. The bad starts when you start walking to your room. The hallways pipes are leaking and there are garbage cans to catch the water and boards installed on the floor. Most of the room where not even used and kept empty. About 20-30 cars in the parking. Didn't look like they were renovating. Rooms are OK at best, not super clean... Pool was decent for the kids. Le locking outside doors don't all work so anyone can get in at night so security is an issue. A lot of the room where just kept open with swing bar. I could have entered a room and slept there for free with my sleeping bag. Only one of the 4 ice machine was kinda working. Water pressure was so high that it hurt showering. Not sure where they are going with the hotel, it's big and could be nice. We won't be back to this one. Price was ok for 1 night. If you like to walk there is nice trail in the wood just 3 minutes drive behind the hotel, it was lots of fun with the kids.

Came to Sonesta to rest the night after having a terrible day and my day immediately became better off of two interactions with the staff. Danaya and a bartender who I saw from 6-7pm. I was on line ready to check in with a down look on my face since I wasn’t able to return home after working a double at the hospital. As I go up to check in I’m greeted with this amazing energy, positive attitude, vibe and aura that can immediately make you smile after just a couple of sentences. This person is Danaya. She made my day so much better after just a small conversation. I did come back down later to drop my girlfriend off to her car and again me and her both were greeted with the same energy that I had received a couple of hours earlier. I do believe that every job and every place deserves someone like Danaya! The amount of joy I received after checking in truly made my night so much better and I wish her all the best! I wish I had asked for the bartender’s name who made me a Caribbean rum punch! I sat down after speaking with Danaya who told me about happy hour, and ask the bartender for his favorite drink since I had just turned 21 a week/ 2 weeks ago. He immediately went to work on the first drink I’ve had out of the many I’ve had in this short time that I enjoyed. I’m not big on Alcohol since I’m just now exploring it but the one he had made for me was amazing. With his cheerful attitude and quickness of the drink I was definitely grateful for him being there! Wish him all the best also! The room was amazing and something not many people realize is how important it is to have such good water while showering. I feel like it’s always overlooked but my shower was fantastic here. The king sized bed I had was like sleeping and a cloud and the channels they had were great to watch. Tv was amazing and everything was clean. The window has an amazing view! This hotel is amazing. From the rooms, to the guest and to the staff that do their best to provide nothing but the best service you can receive. Any hotel can offer a bed to sleep on and a happy hour but none do it better than Sonesta! Thank you to all who work there and I wish you the best in life. And another personal thanks to Danaya, the bartender who served me, and to whoever cleaned my room before and after my stay! I wish nothing but great things for you guys! I have stayed about 7 nights at this hotel, during 2 trips. I would like to compliment Jae-mone at the front desk for her help and kindness during my 2nd stay. The hotel is conveniently located near people I needed to visit. It is clean and most of the staff was helpful. However, the breakfasts were not replenished enough during the times there should have been food and what was available in the last half hour was nowhere near what was available early on. During my first trip I had no issues with the room but during the second trip there were, and although I requested help they were not fixed. People should be aware that this hotel is in a commercial area, there is no place to walk to if you need a pharmacy or a meal, except a brewery which looked great and featured food trucks. I felt perfectly safe there and will definitely return there.

I have been staying at this hotel for the third time. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast, yogurt, fruit, bread, scrambled eggs, hot tea, hot coffee, although simple, eating very comfortable. The hotel room is equipped with a full set of kitchen utensils. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and you can cook for yourself. There is free parking at the hotel, and there is a repair shop on the side of the road. This tire is unfortunately tied with nails. It is very convenient to pump up and repair the tires. highly recommended.

The hotel looks old, but it is well maintained and belongs to the HILTON hotel. The room has no way to open the window, it is a bit wet. The hotel front desk Xiaohe is quite willing to chat. It was very convenient to book the airport where Red Dot’s car went.

Past reviews had feedback about construction. It’s over, and the place is engineered for a relaxing place if you are visiting Rye for biz or family/pleasure. Rooms are clean and I loved that they had housekeeping done each day before 10:00 am. We are here to celebrate a new grandbaby and have made this our “nest”. The cafe is excellent (I assumed nasty motel breakfast and got a delish Gruyère burrito.). Decent wine and excellent little convo spaces with TVs ( Succession!) where we felt like this is a home away from home. The staff are aware this is a turnaround and anxious to please in the best way. Lovely people. Once the night nurse is done, and the guest room is open, we may not need to Courtyard but as our family grows in Rye I’m so happy to know this is an option! Good job, people who work here 👍

My family and I stayed at Cambria Hotels for a couple days. Each room was neat and super clean. It’s very noticeable their staff cares about their work and what they put out. Housekeeping personnel were extremely kind and hospitable which made our stay so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Other staff members were very professional and welcoming and the rooms were very organized so I can confidently say I’d be staying here again ! Josh E. Burke

I booked three rooms for two nights. Changing the reservation to get rid of one night took an hour on the phone as they bounced me between central and the local hotel, and I never got a written change confirmation. My daughter had. a smoky room. In the middle of the night she screamed and banged on our door. An intruder, she said, had opened the door to the adjoining room. The phone didn't work, so we went to the front desk and the clerk did not call security, but decided that my daughter must be wrong and it must have been a refrigerator door banging. So, we had to wake up the other daughter to put the terrified daughter in her room. I asked the clerk for a refund and she promised the manager would call soon. He did not call until I posted the online review Hilton requested. Management refunded $80 (which was inadequate), but did not solve any of the problems for subsequent guests x. Hilton corporate refused to get involved. No fix for the refrigerator door. No check of whether the lock was picked. No cure for the smokey room. No followup on the reservation change problem. Contacting three ”team members” did little good , as they simply are not into meeting customers' expectations or solving problems so future guests will have a better experience.
