Courtyard Charleston Mt. Pleasant

This hotel is badly in need of a refresh. if you want to plug in an RGB 9 monitor from a 20-year-old desktop to the wall. they got you covered. if you want to charge an iPhone, you're out of luck. Things were excessively worn for the price point they charge, I couldn't dare sit on the chair on the balcony with too many broken strands, and they offer very few amenities. for the amount of money we were asked to lay down. this should have been a very much nicer hotel.

Well if you are basing your stay decision on virus mitigation I would say they fail. No hand wipes anywhere visible near check in, people non paying attention to elevator signage, no indication in the room that anything has changed in the way of protection and the Marriott stated indication of hand wipes in the room. Well they are nowhere to be found. Fail in my book, hope we didn't catch anything.

My husband and i have stayed at this hotel multiple times and we are always impressed The staff are super friendly and accommodating and go out of there way to ensure a wonderful experience On this particular trip I want to call out two exceptional employees Gabriel and Chaz at the front desk Two entirely different encounters Gabriel over the phone who was beyond efficient and friendly to Chaz when we checked in , who greets you with a beautiful smile and goes out of his way to ensure your satisfaction I hope management reads this review and recognizes these outstanding individuals To the hotel itself guest rooms are spacious and clean When you check in the lobby, hallways are gorgeous I always enjoy my visits to this hotel

At check-in, the desk clerk seemed annoyed that I had used ******* to book a room. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel is it as listed as having a “restaurant“. When we arrived, we found out the restaurant was simply a counter with a bar and pre-prepared foods, nothing fresh. The prices for the premade food was very high, and the service was slow, although there were only two of us in the “restaurant“. The room overall was clean, but dated with the usual things that needed repair or care, that had not been given. We tried the bistro “restaurant“ again in the morning for coffee and breakfast, it was a long delay to order two croissants and coffees. The staff didn’t seem to care that someone had to wait for something rather than talking amongst themselves and sitting down to take a break.

Thank God for the Courtyard Marriott in Mount Pleasant on Isle of Pines, SC! I absolutely would not stay at the first hotel i booked on your ap. This hotel was much better. The desk lady at the Marriott was wonderful!

Anazing staff. Welcoming and friendly throughout stay. Beautiful property. Immaculate. Easy drive or uber to downtown. Multiple stays- always positive

Staff were extremely kind and gracious. Breakfast was a shock. Paid $15/person in advance, only to learn you must order your breakfast from a one-person coffee bar station. It takes forever, with all guests forced to do the same thing. I had to leave very early and had expected to be able to conveniently grab hotel breakfast without a 30 + minute wait.

Clean rooms, staff courteous & helpful! We loved the style of the hotel and location.

The room service was delicious. It was centrally located to all of our destinations. It was clean and the staff were incredible.
