Staff was friendly, pool was clean, hot tub was hot, room was clean

This place was wonderful, from the staff to the room, excellence all around.

This Doubletree is a nice hotel: comfortable spacious room, updated decor, but there are some negative aspects that would probably prevent me from staying here again. The walls are extremely thin. We could hear every conversation in the hall and the room next door. The highway noise was also notable. There were only a few people on our floor, I can’t imagine how loud it must be during full occupancy. The selection of TV channels was extremely poor. The room lacked a microwave or refrigerator, WiFi worked well. I checked in with the Hilton app and used that as the room key, so had no interaction with staff. We did not dine at the restaurant. A minor detail, but there was no sign of the chocolate chip cookies which are usually found at the Doubletree.

Nice hotel. Clean and open. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good. Complements to the chef! Had room 513 that overlooked parking lot and view of interstate. Very quiet!! My only complaint is that the tvs were not working. Which normally would not bother me. But we were in town for the eclipse. Would have been nice to see the recap, or check weather or...

Nice place to stop on your way to Florida

The price is outrageous for the area. My spouse was there visiting while I was in Mt Vernon. My stay cost $110 more than his stay at a comparable Hilton in Nashville, TN. for the same amount of nights. Considering there’s nothing to do in town that’s spectacular, the tv wasn’t working for the entire property, and the rooms are dated, it’s priced too high.

This area is very run down and that includes the hotel. We booked our stay through ******* so when we arrived to find our room with a “balcony” was really a room with a door with bars on the other side (no step out) we questioned the staff but they said they couldn’t help us because they didn’t have any free rooms with balconies. We asked if they could give us a restaurant credit and they told us we had to talk to ******* and they couldn’t help us. The room had no fridge (where it was supposed to have) and the phone didn’t work (no dial tone). They put us in an alternate room that didn’t have a balcony or door to the outside. Additionally, the vent in the shower was caked with dust and the floor of the shower was covered in mildew. Thankfully we only had to stay for one night.

Clean room, friendly staff

The lobby was nice and clean when I entered to check in. Didn’t have any issues the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. She provided me with my room cards, complimentary breakfast tickets, and warm cookies; which were delicious by the way! I got upstairs to my room and when I entered the room the bed was lumpy like the sheets hadn’t been changed. So I moved the covers back and checked the bed one bed was messier than the other as far as how tight the sheets were on the bed. Then I set my bags down and went into the bathroom, there was dried piss all over the toilet seat, the shower floor was dirty the mirrors were nasty. I tried to call down to the front desk and the phone didn’t work so I had to go down to talk to the young lady. I showed her the picture of the seat alone and she switched my room and made my rate $120. I go back upstairs and the room is directly next door I entered the room and went into the bathroom and what is it? The the bathroom is not clean, hair dust and whatever else collects on the material seats not clean at all. Spider webs in the shower. I drove all the way from Chicago for 4 hours and had a prison visit for 4 hours. I just wanted to shower comfortably and get some rest. Instead I was cleaning the bathroom for my comfort. $ 120 a night Motel 6 is cleaner than that. It was totally unacceptable and unfortunate of an experience. Not sure if you have to be a Hilton Honors Member to get a clean room but that was totally unfortunate
