Arrivés tard par le ferry . John a su nous rassurer pour la récupération des clefs . On est arrivés à minuit . Petit déjeuner tout préparé le matin c était super Merci John ! On est pas loin a pied du centre ville et du mont Victoria c était parfait

Insgesamt Dank guter Lage und guten Preisen ist die Unterkunft empfehlenswert. Ich hatte ein paar kleinere Themen bei der Ankunft (ich kam erst nicht rein) aber das passiert bei Pensionen. Ansonsten top Lage, akzeptables Frühstück und ich konnte mein Gepäck vor Abfahrt lagern. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet inkl. Kühlschrank! Kann nachts Recht kühl werden.

We had a great stay. The room was really big with a new bathrom. The B&B is really good located, so you can explore Wellington by walking. Parking is also available in front of the house. The breakfast was good with a lot of options.

I normally read reviews, but must've missed the warnings from others here. The guesthouse is quaint Victorian style, but the host, John is extremely rude, hostile, insulting and unwelcoming. We rung the bell and he opened the door and just gave us a blank stare, no hello, welcome, nothing. I said we were checking in and he did not respond until I told him my name. He then invited us in, then started complaining about- his other guests, previous guests and all the people that were calling/emailing due to being double charged. He asked where we were from, then insulted our country for 20 minutes. Unless you enjoy being treated like an unwanted stepchild, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! There are plenty of other places to stay in Wellington.

The location is close enough to the Wellington retail area to walk there easily. As a solo woman traveller I felt safer staying here than at an impersonal hotel.
