Pilio Sea Horizon Hotel

This particular hotel is not worthy of four stars but not one. Let's start from the rooms miserable from furniture, doors windows pre-historic, beds mattresses, pillows. No screens on the windows and every bug gets in because of the location and believe me there are a lot of them, especially mosquito nets. Very basic cleanliness very bad first day we found a fingernail on the side of the bedside table, in the basin behind a used toilet paper, dirty pillows the bed and mattress had maggots spiders and webs stuck to them, dirty fridge and wardrobe, the internet they say it doesn't catch anywhere and at the location of the hotel it doesn't catch a signal and the only means of communication would be the internet which doesn't catch anywhere though. All the conversations we heard from other residents were negative, we didn't hear anything positive from anyone.. The only positive thing is the hotel employees where they are kind.

Hotel in a nice location, not so organized, many stairs and unfortunately the four-bed rooms are very low, I measured 134 steps for the room, not at all convenient when you have children while the two-bed rooms are next to the pool... very humid and old construction, due to the nature and strong vegetation there were many bugs that entered the room since the frames were old wooden and without screens ... economical for its price but we would not go again nor would I recommend it

I booked a room in the supposed four star hotel for a few days vacation and I literally feel cheated. I will start with the only positive which is the location and the amazing view of the Aegean. Everything else is simply unacceptable with the exception of the breakfast which is decent. The room was in a state of decay with the door frames not closing, broken and dirty and making an unbearable noise with every movement. There are no screens and the spiders had a party in the room where they would probably have a nest. The furniture looks like it came from a 1950's inn with a crappy mattress and even crappier pillows. In the bathroom there were only two bottles of shower gel of 5 ml and nothing else was not even renewed in the following days. The wifi is practically useless and the mobile phone signal is extremely weak. The parking is difficult to access and in some cases there is a high possibility of damage to the car. In conclusion, its owners are mocking and deceiving their customers by charging 4-star hotel prices instead of the price of a simple rented room and of poor quality.

Amazing location! We were greeted with great love by a flock of large sphinxes, very friendly that while they were walking around on our balcony, none of them bit us! The refrigerator with the right temperature so that our throats don't get sore! The mattress is strictly spartan, respecting that we want a straight back! Luckily there was no cell phone signal or proper wi-fi for people to start bothering us and ruining our fun! Free exercise with the dozens of steps to climb from the room to the reception! We left satisfied!

When booking, there is of course this big gap between a hotel which announces its **** and the rates offered: too big for it to be a good deal, especially in the very touristy Pelion region. We're really, really not at the level of a ****, but we suspected that. But, as the level of service of a hotel is made up of details, even for a **, which would correspond to the price charged, the service is not satisfactory: the room is not ready when we arrive (at 7 p.m. ), the ashtray on the terrace is barely emptied. not cleaned, the room is not impeccable, the bathroom is from another era, the wifi, not secure, is almost unusable, there is no hot water at the end of the day, the breakfast is mainly industrial, ... And yet there is this exceptional site, these pretty little buildings and some of the staff who are doing their best in this disaster

1. There is no screen in any frame (there was one in the small bathroom window but it was torn) so you can't open the windows in the summer because all the insects that exist in nature get in. 2. Due to the lack of sieve in the room and the bathroom there are various insects and mainly locusts which I could not get out. 3. The floor was dirty and the sheets had insect residue and gray stains. 4. There was a strong foul smell from the bathroom faucets throughout the room. I closed all the faucets but it still smelled, when I closed the bathroom door the smell subsided a bit. 5. The mattress was hard as stone. 6. The wood on the bathroom door was cracked as if someone had punched it and the only wooden chair in the room was cracked and worn (the varnish was gone) 7. The furniture and fixtures looked like they were bought in the 1990s 80 and have not been changed since then. 8. The air conditioner looked just as old, I was afraid to open it because the chances of it being properly maintained were slim. 9. The rating of the hotel as 4 stars is misleading and gives the right to charge the room at that price. I believe that a complaint should be made to those responsible for removing the stars. Of the 4 nights I had paid for with a non-refundable rate, I could only afford to stay 2.
