A total rip-off, we booked and paid a deposit for a 45m2 apar**ent. Once we arrived there, the host Ilias gave us an apar**ent of not even 25 m2. To our complaints, he replied that we had seen the photos and that there was also a balcony. I explained to him that the balcony is not a room (absurd!) and that we booked 45 m2 only to end up with less than 28 m2, which was the size of the other apar**ent which was 30% less (€750 for the fake 45 m2 for ten days, compared to €500 for the fake 28 m2). There were supposed to be two bedrooms and a kitchen with a living room, we found ourselves in a room of approximately 9 m2 and a kitchen of 12 m2, where two mattresses were placed and where, obviously because it is a kitchen, there is no wardrobe. We should put clothes in the fridge, but it seems absurd to us. Tiny wardrobe for one person, 4 of us. We also called the police, who replied that they couldn't intervene, because it was a financial issue between us (?). I pointed out to him that he was an honest tourist, cheated by a dishonest local host. The host then tried to show me the other rooms, because we requested 45 m2 and guess what? They don't have any 45m2 apar**ents, the 25m2 one is the largest. What they sell for 28 m2 is not even 16 m2. I measured the tiles on the ground (30 cm each) and the surface is the same. Very different from what was sponsored and sold. Furthermore, due to our very just and legitimate grievances, the host began to treat us as if we didn't exist. We did not even receive the wi fi password or description of the services present in the structure. And this morning (we are still Kefalonia as I write the review) since we allowed ourselves to make complaints and we do not calmly accept being cheated by this individual who is not honest in the description of his apar**ents, the host asked us to pay in advance for the stay and for entire, as if they were 45 m2. Yesterday was a ruined day. He's trying to ruin our day today too. But we are on holiday and all this is truly absurd, dishonest and overbearing. Very bad experience. Don't let yourself be fooled or blackmailed once you get here by such people. He presented Kefalonia to us in a terrible way and the advertising he does for his island is shameful!!!
