Ramada by Wyndham Marcoola Beach

Very friendly welcome. Room with a view. Close to many facilities ie bottle shop seven 11 Dinner at restaurant only disappointment as over priced and very underwhelming.

Unfortunately wouldn't recommend, room was so requiring a refurbishment. Air con was leaking and caused wet carpet and smelly moist mouldy smell. Spider webs and soiled pillow case. Shower drain wasn't draining correctly and was backing up. Oh ac was really loud too. Wasn't a great location if you wanted to explore, more just beach. Wasn't what the pics looked like online.

Pros: good view of the sea Cons: everything apart from the view - many bugs, bad air conditioning (couldn’t even believe that it made the room very humid) Overall, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Convenience to beach Room needs a bit of an update, no USB charging area, windows dirty so unable to take advantage of the view.

Hotel room was compact, though the decor was fresh and modern and our room had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable, TV was massive and bathroom was functional. The hotel is in an excellent position, right on the beach, with great pool and amenities and shops close by. The main problem with this hotel is the air conditioning is totally outdated and there was no temperature control on in our room (only freezing cold). We were also unable to turn the system off and were forced to use extra blankets (that reception willingly provided). The air con system pumps stale air into the room which was disgusting, especially as it could not be turned off. We opened the balcony door for as long as we could, but due to the room being near the road and airport it was impracticle to leave the door open all night. For our health, I would not risk staying at this hotel again.

Layout of the appartment was great, great location. However it was tired and except for recently updated stone benchtops the cabinets are original and in need of updating. Some of the tables were unstable and a little dangerous as well as the lamps in the second bedroom. Resort facilities were great but the upselling of Wyndam holiday packages was a little too uncomfortable. I had to say im not interested at least 4 or 5 times and we only stayed 1 night. Not sure i would want to say at Wyndham properties too often purely because of the pushing for their Wyndham packages. The spa bath also did not work. Which was a shame.

Well priced for a 3 bedroom apartment, typical Wyndham property, would have been flash when it was new but minimal maintenance. Apart from the beach there’s nothing to do. Very close to the airport which is good and bad. Needs a tennis court and more family based activities!

This overpriced hotel needs a refurbishment. The room are tired and quite small. No car parking was provided and internet was down all afternoon
