The room was renovated but the stained and smelly carpet remained unchanged. Leisure was ok, there were not many people, we were in the jacuzzi and sauna. The people in the pool agreed with us that the water was cold. We booked a room with a lake view through Trip.com, we didn't get one :( The bar was great, the food was big portions.

Stayed twice, both of which have been pleasant. Rooms clean and facilities good Only somewhat negative point is the service in the bar/grill. Staff seem reluctant to approach your table to take orders, give out menus etc. Noticed others as well as myself going to the bar to order food and pay bills etc.

We are just back from a lovely overnight stay Saturday till Sunday a birthday nite out and from the minute we arrived at reception we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies at reception we got sorted out 2 rooms and they were fab all updated and very fine decor indeed we were very impressed and chocolates and prosecco for our birthday girl and a card a lovely touch. We booked our food in the bar for 7.15pm and staff in bar were wonderful we wanted for nothing and so pleasant and polite. Breakfast we were taken into the newly refurbished dining room and I must say it is beautiful well done breakfast was lovely too great staff again and all very pleasant. We will definitely be back as everytime we stay our visit is such a treat. Thank you everyone well done . Gwen Doyle

This was our first stop in Ireland as we landed early in the morning in Dublin and need a place for a bit of R&R to prevent jetlag and Bloomfield did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived Katrina and the front of house staff treated us like VIPs and made us feel right at home. We genuinely felt like we were staying with friends and took advantage of the spa area before settling down for dinner. We got a table with a great view of the lake and our server (Justine?) was amazing! The place was backed from when we got there, all the way through live music that night, and we were never left waiting for service. We even a chance to ask questions about the area and Ireland in general. The food was delicious and so was the Guinness! Every person we talked with was definitely bringing their "A" game and we will definitely be back our time to Ireland! Thank you Katrina and staff!

3 friends and myself stayed here to celebrate a birthday. From the check in to check out our stay was amazing! Fabulous refurbished rooms were enjoyed by us all and a lovely treat left for the birthday girl and ourselves! Dining room also recently refurbished and looks amazing! The staff are so professional and friendly , they couldn’t do enough for us! Top class hotel that we will visit again in the near future!!

Wedding day on arrival on the Saturday. Wouldn’t have went near if I knew. Band and noise all day Saturday and Saturday night. Very annoying giving just wanted peace and quiet.

Visited here as part of a coach trip. Rooms were very comfortable and clean (even with the addition of a birds nest outside my window). It is so quiet at night. Meals were very good and the presentation was excellent. The staff are amazing and will do anything to help. The grounds are beautiful.
