Heerlijk rustige plek. Boven op een berg. Alleen te bereiken via bergweg. In het dorp slechts een handje vol huizen. We hebben geslapen in appartement René. Voor een gezin van 5 personen een royaal, licht en compleet appartement met keuken, woonkamer, badkamer en 2 slaapkamers. Al is er in de woonkamer ook nog een bed. 6 personen is dus ook goed te doen. Ontbijt op lokatie prima en s’avonds kun je aanschuiven voor een drie gangenmenu wat het gezin zelf verzorgd, zonder kaart. Gewoon wat de pot schaft. Lekker en niet duur. Sloveense keuken. Zwembad is klein maar heerlijk koel. Kortom een aanrader voor gezinnen in de prachtige Vipava regio, die nog niet zo toeristisch is als andere regio’s in Slovenië.

I had high hopes for my stay and they were all exceeded. The location and accommodation are amazing. We stayed 5 nights and I had only planned to eat here 1 night but that quickly turned into 3 given the quality of the food and tranquillity of the setting. We also stayed in Ljubljana and Bled but this was the best by a mile. Truly a family run business, just the parents and 3 children running everything efficiently and really friendly. They have their own vineyard and make their own wine (which I highly recommend). Nice breakfast with eggs, cold cuts, cheese, juices, yoghurts, muesli. Coffee is freely available all day. Tip: one of the neighbours has a cheese shop and does a cheese tasting platter from their own herd of goats and sheep (evenings only). One of the highlights of our trip. Will recommend to anyone going to this region and would love to visit again.

We spent our family vacation in the Slovenian mountain village of Pedrovo with the very friendly owners Alenka and Mark with their children at Kmetija Toncevi. The old, thoughtfully renovated house is idyllically located on the mountain. A very nice courtyard with a mulberry tree and the cozy veranda, decorated with lots of greenery and loving details, invite you to linger. A clean, familiar pool area and a sauna/infrared cabin complete the offer for those seeking relaxation. The cozy, rustic apartment in the attic offered plenty of space for 5 people, well equipped with everything you need: refrigerator, kitchenette, dishes, air conditioning, TV, WiFi, games, towels, bed linen... We were well looked after by the hosts at breakfast the freshly prepared egg dish and prosciutto, pancetta, salami and regional cheese at the buffet are particularly popular. Coffee specialties from a good machine available all day. In the evening, in addition to the popular antipasti platter, there was also soup and salad as well as a choice between Slovenian home-style food cooked fresh every day or perfect grilled steak, as well as a meatless alternative. The matching house wine is served. We also enjoyed the apple juice and elderflower syrup produced on the farm. Highly recommended are the homemade, lovingly served desserts - tiramisu, cream slices, cheesecake... definitely try them!

the menu was really poor. The only 2 side dishes were not grilled as proposed, but fried. They were not very kind or attentive to our requests. It's a shame because the place is very nice.

We had a lovely stay at Toncevi! The family made our stay perfect with delicious breakfast and dinner. Toncevi is a very quiet, idyllic place where you can relax with your family in one of the cosy appartements or at the swimming pool. Be sure to visit one of rhe vineyards near Vipava when you’re around!
