We were extremely pleased with this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable, as was our room. My grandson loved the pool and water slide. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of food and beverage choices. I highly recommend staying here.

The front desk person named renee was very nice and pleasant, We really appreciated The adults only pool time after 10pm.

Pool access says 8-10. They neglect to tell you that the big slide is only open 4-10 until after you have paid and checked in, and the rest of the pool area is just over 3 feet at the deepest so it’s not really useable unless you have toddlers. If you ask about it they are beyond rude and point to a paper they gave you at check in which again, is after you already paid and can’t cancel. Hot tub is not hot. Sauna doesn’t work. Feels like I got scammed.

Safe, quiet and easy parking.

The reason we booked was for the pool area for my 9year old. We were on a beach vacation but it was so cold outside so promised him a pool. The water was about the same temperature as Lake Superior. The hotel employee told us story after story of how she kicks out kids for not following the rules. We were the only ones in the pool and she came in to make sure he didn’t go down the water slide in his vest “Because that’s the Michigan law”. Okay, I know you’re not supposed to. But we are literally the only ones here. Turns out it wasn’t an issue bc the water was just way too cold for him to go all the way under so after 45 min of staying in the 2.6 ft area, we left. Room smelled Ike mold, but was clean. Beds were ok. Breakfast did have hot items available.

Check in was fast and easy, room was clean and as it was described on website, pool area was clean but dark, sauna was not working, hot tub was not hot, sign said 104 degrees (temp was comparable to lukewarm bath water) if you like firm mattress this place is for you! I prefer a softer bed to sleep on. I look forward to sleeping on hotel pillows but unfortunately I have better pillows at my home. Coffee was hot and okay. I would not book another room for the price here.

The pool pictures are very deceiving. Small area and only goes to 4 ft deep. Not allowed to use ANY pool toys. The front desk lady was rude about everything. The beds are stiff and pillows flat. Light bulbs didn't work in the room. The bathtub wouldn't close so we could take a bath. Definitely won't stay again. Took the kids for the pool and we only in there for an hr because of getting yelled at.

Very welcoming staff and very professional. The hotel itself is outdated and the breakfast was horrible not a big variety at all. The big slide isn’t open until 4pm so it wasn’t very fun early. However it’s very clean feeling and welcoming!
