Holiday Inn MURFREESBORO by IHG

This could have easily been a great review. The hotel was nice, staff were pleasant and location is good. Unfortunately the room we were assigned had multiple issues. First, the full length mirror that is supposed to be hanging outside the bathroom was missing. The hardware remnants were still on the wall so it was obviously absent. Secondly, the towel hook on the bathroom door was also missing. These sound minor except when there are 3 people sharing a room it makes it very inconvenient to get ready with one mirror. It also makes it difficult to hang towels except over the shower rod. When I brought the mirror up to the front desk attendant, she was aware that previous occupants had removed it. Why wouldn’t you have it replaced in a timely manner? Does housekeeping not make note of items that need attention? I hope these room issues are repaired before the next guests are assigned that room.

The breakfast area was dirty the lady there was more concerned about her tip than keeping the garbage from overflowing and the food area clean spilled food all over

We came to Murfreesboro to visit family for the holidays. Room was clean and nice. Front desk was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good with a big variety. Location of the hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Newer property. We will return

Clean, nice looking. Beds are extremely firm and the TV did not work but that could have been an inclement weather outage.

The heat in our original room did not work but the lady at the front desk found us a different room that had heat. The second room was bigger and had enough room for 5 people and luggage. The original room was small for that many people. The lady at the front desk was very nice and she went above and beyond to help us.

The breakfast cost $12 per person. The information we looked at said free breakfast. It definitely wouldn’t have been worth it. There wasn’t room to unfold the hide-a-bed so it had to be moved to make room which didn’t really leave room for luggage. The stopper in the bathtub was broken. It wasn’t worth the cost of the room.

Staff was very courteous. Room appeared to have been vacant for a number of days. Had a very stagnant odor. Easily changed to another room.

The room was clean as usual. I love this spot very reserved and clean. I book here when I’m in town but had an issue with my reservation this time about what was included with my reservation when clearly I paid for it. Receptionist stated it’s not clear on hotel end what’s being book (breakfast) through *******. Glad I had my receipt through the app to show. I hope this gets resolved soon. I pay for what I want and would love to not have this as an issue again.
