Hotel was overpriced but our stay was in August so that may have something to do with the excessive prices. The hotel overall was unimpressive. It is a basic beach resort hotel. Food was usually buffet style and not appetizing. The rooms had mosquitoes. They were reasonably spacious and AC in rooms made it comfortable to sleep.

Wir haben als Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern unseren ersten All Inklusive Hotelurlaub im Iberostar Playa de Muro gebucht. Wir waren in der letzten OktoberWoche dort und konnten sowohl im Meer schwimmen als auch das tolle Hallenbad genießen. Die OutdoorPools sind unbeheizt und bei nicht ganz warmen Temperaturen waren sie uns etwas zu frisch. Aber das wussten wir ja und haben aufs Hallenbad und das Meer gesetzt :-). Das Hotel ist eine Wucht, tolle Anlage, die Zimmer klasse, diese großen Duschen fanden wir Mega im verbundenen Doppelzimmer. Die großen Balkone sind fast wie 2 weitere Räume. Das Essen ist unbeschreiblich toll! Jeden Tag andere Highlights, Qualität, Auswahl, alles schwer zu toppen. Aber was uns vollkommen überwältigt hat, war (auch zum Ende der Saison) das vollkommen freundliche, lustige und aufrichtige Personal. Auch untereinander herrschte augenscheinlich nettes Klima, man fühlte sich als Gast total willkommen, egal in welchem Bereich!!! 1000 Dank für diese einmalige Woche!

Positive: 1. Front desk service (thank you Sheila and Aurelia for great and attentive service to try to address my concerns). 2. Beautiful beach. 3. Walking distance to shops and restaurants
Negative: 1. Rooms and housekeeping - very old and smelly rooms and dirty all around. Found dirty socks in our bed sheets that belonged to the previous guests- absolutely gross. We were left with ripped dirty towels after housekeeping “cleaned” our room. The smell in the resort area was so bad could not even sit and enjoy the patio 2. Food- egg shells in our scrambled eggs, frozen veggies served in the poke bowl (dinner buffet was good although incredibly busy- only one buffet for the entire resort). 3. The pool- so busy -not enough space to enjoy or find chairs.
This resort is so busy even my kids were annoyed at how many screaming kids were there. Other than the beautiful lobby, the rest of the resort is old, dirty and smelly. This is at best 3* resort. I have stayed at many resorts in the Caribbean. Mexico, etc also stayed in other Spain hotels and resorts. This is the worst resort I have ever stayed at. I felt bad for the front desk staff who were wonderful and were dealing with different guests complaining as I was standing there. They should rate this a 3* so guests know what to expect.
I had to ask to move to another Iberostar (Selection Albufera Playa- absolutely wonderful) and lost money (still waiting for one night’s refund) as staying at this resort was awful.

Hôtel à recommander pour la qualité de la restauration, l'animation et la très grande amabilité du personnel (bars et restauration tout particulièrement). Excellente situation : accès direct à la plage et lignes de bus pour Alcudia ou Palma notamment. Hôtel idéal pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

El equipo de recepción y dirección es de lo mejor: súper atentos, siempre con una sonrisa. Las cenas temáticas mexicanas nos encantaron, ¡auténticas y deliciosas! Nos hicieron sentir como en casa y con muchas ganas de volver. Gracias a todo el personal por unas vacaciones perfectas.

Willkommen zu Hause, es ist wirklich so. Eine Familie. ZimmerFrau Cati , Julia bei der Massage im Spa, der tolle freundliche, gut deutsch sprechende Kellner. Der mich immer mit einem lieben: na Chefin, alles im Grünen Bereich ?! Angesprochen hat. Wirklich eine Familie. Ich weiß leider nicht wie er heißt. Gross, schlank und die Haare vorne etwas hoch in der Mitte. Alle total toll.

We have just got back from the most amazing holiday we have ever had at the iberostar waves playa de Muro hotel . I found that all the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful . The hotel location is perfect them Mbeautiful and we had hours of fun in the fantastic pools in the day and loved the evening entertainment. Our rooms were so clean and spacious with a fantastic view from the balcony . My favourite part of the holiday was the beautiful meals we received they had so much choice and everything looked and tasted delicious the very talented chefs in the restaurant even prepared all my meals from fresh due to my food allergies making sure there was no cross contamination . I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wonting to be treated like a star.
