The hotel is very old, the facilities and decoration are very backward, and there is a lingering smell in the toilet. The hotel staff is average, the breakfast is okay, I will not stay again

Nice location in quiet residential area near beach. Hotel has limited parking on site. Public areas and rooms were clean. Receptionist tried to reduce to a single room from the double that I had booked. Pointed this out and was given a double ...... next to the lift, despite the hotel being practically. Poor soundproofing meant that I could hear every conversation in the corridor.
Tried the pool which is on the second floor in the middle of the hotel. No towels available. I did ask a member of staff but none were forthcoming. Restaurant was empty and no bars were open as it was Eid. Service was polit and there was an extensive menu. Additional guidance on the menu explaining the dishes would have been helpful.
Bar and restaurant downstairs also closed.
Breakfast service staff were helpful and offered alternative options which were not laid out on buffet.

A very bad stay experience. The location of the hotel is remote, there is no public transportation, you can only take a taxi that is seriously ripped off at the door (a common problem in Muscat, no one manages it), the room has no facilities, there is a strange smell, the sheets and quilts are damp, It's super uncomfortable to stick on my body. I checked in at 12:00 noon and checked out at 7:00 pm. It was equivalent to paying a day's rent for nothing.

Breakfast variety was so-so. But hotel is cheap and relatively clean. Fast check-in. Could hear noise from the restaurants at night from my room 1 level above. Good location near qurum beach and park.

I am a girl, traveling alone, and the experience of staying in this hotel is extremely poor. First of all, the taxis at the entrance of the hotel are the internal fleet of the hotel. The phenomenon of slaughtering passengers is serious and unreasonable. I charged 10 riyals, and finally took a long detour. When I got off the bus, the uncle of the Arab driver yelled at me to ask for another 2 riyals, which was quite rude. When I left, I went to the airport to take a taxi. I stopped a taxi at the door, but the uncle of the hotel taxi team yelled for other taxis to go away, and forced my luggage to the trunk of his own taxi, saying the same thing. The price has to take their car. I couldn't be mad at such a strong buy and sell, they were unreasonable, and they argued with each other, I called the hotel manager, and the manager also stood by after seeing it! Secondly, during my stay, I was knocked on the door by a local drunk man in the next room. Later, I learned that this hotel has a Bar, and the local reputation was not good. The Ramee Guestline is nicely positioned close to the beach in Muscat and only a short drive to the old part of the city, the airport or the Grand Mosque. Arrival was greeted with drinks and check in was fairly smooth and efficient. The room was OK, nothing too special and the bed gave a good nights sleep after a long journey. The room included breakfast which wasn't really anything special. The hotel has a pleasant pool area, which is nicely shaded from the intense Omani sun. There's nothing this hotel does really well and nothing really wrong with it - just fairly average in all respects.

Good bed, quiet room, relaxed a**osphere. Not the best breakfast but nice area. Good staff, helpful and no hassle. Caught a cold from the air conditioner here or elsewhere but perhaps preferable to sweaty sheets. Bathroom old but hot water quick and plenty. Far away from disturbing traffic, that’s the best point.
