The hotel is very beautiful and picturesque. The beach is a natural beach. There are many crabs after the low tide in the afternoon.

Ich würde es auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen! Wir waren zwei Wochen im Oman und haben in sieben verschiedenen 5-Sterne-Hotels übernachtet. Alle waren sehr gut, nichts zu bemängeln, ausser das Chedi! Sehr unpersönlich und unprofessionell. Die Architektur und die Fitness sind schön, aber man ärgert sich nur den Rest des Tages (im Urlaub)! Ob es sich deshalb lohnt ist die grosse Frage! Stichwortartig, was uns genervt hat: - Beim Eingang kümmert sich niemand, d.h. Gepäck selber tragen. - Kein Begrüssungsgetränk und Erfrischungstuch bekommen. - Keine Zahnbürste im Zimmer - Die Pommes waren weich - Beim Dessert wurde der Zucker vergessen - Das Essen war generell nicht gut, ausserdem muss man sehr lange warten - Liegen werden schon um 6.30 Uhr reserviert - Unmotiviertes Personal - Aussensitzplätze im Restaurant trotz Nachfrage nicht bekommen, vier Tische waren bis zum Ende des Abends frei (während unseres Essens wurden anderen Gästen Aussensitzplätze angeboten) - In allen fünf Restaurants gibt es zu 90% das gleiche Essen. -Schlechtes Wifi Beim Check-in hat man uns versprochen, dass es einen unvegesslichen Aufenthalt wird. Ja dies ist Chedi gelungen jedoch NEGATIV! Mit einem Satz, NIE WIEDER! Es gibt viel viel bessere Hotels in Maskat, wo wir selbst diese Erfahrung gemacht haben.

De staf was 5 star. All of them, but especially i want to mention restaurant staff , housekeeping and mr Panditan at the beach. However, there is a chance that we will not go here again, despite the good service in the hotel. It is the ideal hotel to break a hip or something else. You really have to pay attention to where you are walking every second. Maybe that was acceptable 20 years ago, but not anymore. Example. We stayed on the 1st floor of rooms 2145 to 2157. At the bottom of the stairs is a large plateau with a height difference of approximately 10 cm in the same color without markings. Both me and my partner fell because of it. The staff saw it and the restaurant manager we spoke to also agreed with us that a better signing is necessary, but did nothing. Even a week after my partner fell nothing had happend, while a loose ***** or malfunctioning door is repaired within a few hours. So there is a lack of safety awareness bij its management for her guests. And it can’t be that i have to take such risks for visiting this hotel.

My husband and I was on a baby moon vacation. Everything was lovely, from the Pick Up on arrival from the airport, to the Daily maintance of the room. We were suprised that the room Got clearer everytime we left. The food was lovely and the staff polite and good. We never felt there was anything to complain about. Thank you kumari for making the stay amazing. You were so good making the room amazing for us.

Wir waren für zwei Tage in einem Deluxe Club Terrace Room und habe unseren Aufenthalt von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr genossen. Der Empfang und Check-In war freundlich, aufmerksam und reibungslos. Wir konnten bereits um ein Uhr in unser Zimmer. Stil und Einrichtung sind modern minimalistisch, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Club Lounge war sowohl zum Afternoon Tea als auch zur Cocktailstunde auf einem sehr hohen Niveau und ein echter Mehrwert. Sehr geschätzt haben wir auch den Turndown Service. Das Frühstück in Buffetform mit a-la-carte Eierspeisen war umfangreich, sehr vielfältig und lecker. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Personal, alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Longpool ist ein echtes Highlight, einzig störend für uns war, dass es vom Hotel geduldet wird, dass Gäste Liegen reservieren - in einem Luxushotel für mich ein NoGo. Der Fluglärm war für uns nicht störend, allerdings ist er teilweise durchaus wahrzunehmen. The Chedi besticht durch die besondere Architektur und Atmosphäre, immer noch ein Juwel in Maskat. Preise vor Ort für Essen und Getränke haben es in sich, auch einen tollen Strand darf man nicht erwarten. Aber das macht die Anlage auf jeden Fall Bett.
