Where do I begin? This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had in the hundreds of hotel stays I've made over the past 20 years.
The room was absolutely filthy! I found a dead wasp in the room, there were hairs in the bathroom, the couch in our suite was filled with stains that the hotel clearly never even tried to clean, the sofa bed was horrifying (stains, crumbs, dust), and one of the thermostats was defective.
Sadly, this is just the beginning. The hotel had no working elevator, so we had to haul our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. One of the lamps was defective. They refused to clean our room. The phones were out of service. One of the phones did not work at all.
Here's more! The staff refused to provide towels, sheets, and soap. We had to ask for these amenities.
I firmly, but politely, complained about some of these issues. When I did, a staffer named Aloha yelled at me and told me get my luggage and leave the hotel because she was going to call 911. She did this immediately after my first complaint. She didn't try to talk to me, assist me, or resolve issues. She immediately threatened to call 911. When I called her bluff, she backed down. To make things worse, Aloha treated me like this in front of a trainee!
Because of all of this, there may be a lawsuit coming. I am not a litigious person, but the utter hatefulness and disregard of the most senior front desk clerk put things over the top. NO CUSTOMER deserves to be degraded like this!
