Great experience Home Away Home. We spend 5 days at Wild Hotel and we love the swimming pool and the private beach, the perfect place for someone looking for farniente. Decoration is very cosy, a luxury with a great touch of authenticity. our suite had a great view and we felt so comfortable inside. This is definitely a place that we want to come back as soon as we can.

Disappointing experience. The hotel itself is picturesque and comfortable but lacks attentive service and maintenance details. Similar to how we found the island of Mykonos generally, the focus is appearance rather than experience (there are definitely exceptions but this was my general observation). Cons -broken bed -consistent WiFi issues -40 min to receive beach towels, not to mention used towels were left out in a pile from the previous day -generally frustrated and unwelcoming staff (definitely some friendly and helpful exceptions) -trash and laundry left on the steps near our door for over 24 hours Pros -private beach -decor/room aesthetic -pool -nice cat on the property

A bit disappointed. Room nice but office staff acted like we were an inconvenience. Breakfasts are not great. Beach service excellent. Just not worth the cost sadly .

My husband and I celebrated our Honeymoon at the Wild and from the very start were so impressed with the hotel and staff. We arrived and were immediately upgraded! All of our meals and drinks were so delicious! I celebrated my birthday and the staff sat us at a private table and even sang Happy Birthday! You can't beat the private beach or the location! Absolutely amazing!

Stunning location! I loved the private beach, the beach beds are so comfortable and beautifully matches the scenery! Also the restaurant tables and the outdoor sofa area are so pretty. I only wished the pool had a heater because it is also as gorgeous as the beach. I will definitely stay here again.

Quite beautiful hotel grounds and very nice staff, particularly at reception. They were very kind in giving us a double upgrade to the signature suite which was lovely. The beach is great, though can be packed and hard to find a sun bed. The pool is very well designed and relaxing. Only thing I would ask for improvement is the breakfast. Not a lot of choice and have to pay extra if you want eggs other than scrambled or boiled. Also orange juice seemed scarce and kept running out. Maybe more staff were needed at breakfast which would have helped. Overall really good but could be great.

This was our second time at The Wild. We first stayed 2 years ago and loved it so much we knew we'd want to return again one day. The positives: - Incredible setting; quiet enough to relax, lovely atmospheric music by the pool, great vibes - Perfect private beach, perfect sea swimming, lovely cool pool - Nice rooms, lovely and clean, plenty of hot water and very comfy bed - Loved the choice of pillows from the pillow menu, thank you! - Wonderful breakfast buffet and great beach/pool menu - DELICIOUS cocktails, beautifully made and presented - Plenty of sunbeds and beach towels Sadly though, the one overriding negative which we didn't experience during our first visit was the staff and service. It wasn't the end of the season but the overall impression we had was that everyone was tired, fed up of serving guests and wanted the season to be over. (Exceptions being the friendly, enthusiastic drivers who were chatty and energetic and the lovely cleaning staff who did a gorgeous job of cleaning our rooms). Maybe that wasn't the case but we did find ourselves having to go up again and agin to order drinks from staff who were just chatting by the bar and we had made a couple of reservations in advance of our stay (car hire for example) and even though we had an email confirmation from the lady on the reception who were we actually there and then speaking to, she denied any such reservation! It was not a problem in the end, she was able to get us another car, but had we had plans for an early lunch that day (which we luckily didn't) we would have missed them as we then had to wait a couple of hours for new car to be organised. She didn't even apologise which was a bit off. We were also woken up at 4am by a lady asking if we had ordered cigarettes from room service. This wasn't a great wake up as we were fast asleep but mistakes happen so no bad feelings. All in all we really loved our few days back on our favourite Greek island and I have been in two minds about posting this but I do hope that it can highlight to the hotel Manager perhaps an area the hotel needs to improve on as really, as lovely as a place can be, it's the staff that leave a feeling with you. If you are made to feel really welcomed and looked after that is never forgotten. It would be great to experience that again one day in the beautiful Wild hotel.
