Semeli Hotel Mykonos

Great hotel with swimming pool and fancy breakfast.

I recently stayed at this hotel with three friends, and it was an amazing experience. Our time was made even better by Youssef, the bartender, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Youssef's recommendations were spot on, and his personable nature made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel, thanks in large part to Youssef's exceptional service!!!!

My husband and I recently stayed at Semeli hotel for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. For starters, the property was absolutely amazing and located within walking distance into Mykonos Town. We chose the hotel room with a hot tub and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub with a cocktail. The pool area was beautiful and the food was also great. Honestly though, what made this hotel outstanding was the staff. They went above and beyond to make you feel as if you were home and one of their friends! Tess gave excellent suggestions for restaurants and made booking excursions effortless. Stacy and her positive outgoing personality was a true treat every morning. She was a true artist when it came to the coffees she made. Youssef was an excellent day bartender, making unique cocktails that you’ll never find anywhere else. He even went above and beyond to help make reservations for dinner multiple nights while we were there. Alex, the evening bartender, was also best-in-class in both fun conversations and adding his own unique twists to classic cocktails. I highly recommend you try his X Fashioned or his twist on an espresso martini. Sergei, the restaurant waiter, was a true delight to talk to while you had your cocktails. Finally, Christoph, was an excellent service manager and has great taste in wines. The island of Mykonos is an excellent vacation spot, but the staff at the Semeli hotel (and the hotel itself) is something you absolutely must do.

Semeli Hotel is located only 5 min from the aiport and offers so many amenities! The pool has a variety of day beds, and we came during "off season" with plenty of space. Breakfast in the morning is well-stocked, with made-to-order omelots, lots of pastries, rice pudding, eggs, and breads. The bar has excellent service, Youseff stands out as being extremely personable and giving recommendations for local restaurants. Coffee orders at the bar were so yummy in the morning. The front desk is able to call for a taxi from the hotel to airport, 20 euros each way.

Beautiful facility. Wonderful location. Kind staff. Mykonos was welcoming, charming and easy to navigate at this time of year (04/01-04/03). Plenty of restaurants and shops were open and in easy walking distance to Semeli. Yussef and Christophe at the restaurant and bar were most welcoming. Front desk team seemed stressed at times and less than friendly— only complaint.
